Oh, and I forgot how DGB tried to protect DkK too. I mean, at face value I could see it being her falling for a DkK trick, and thus wrongfully TRing him at the time, but that doesn't explain the swift preemptive hammer still.

Gah, I had totally forgotten this. This is a really good point. Odds would be low that she randomly guessed infinity had a night action.

Plus the quick hammer to end mark. Those are two strong points for DGB scum in this scenario.

Looking at the scumputer (though its worth has its limits) though... from your perspective, FL should look pretty scummy. Everyone flipped on a lot of major wagons, except the two of you. If you're town you have reasons to think FL is scum; similarly FL can look at the same pattern and find you scummy, if he's town.

And then both can get on each other's throat and you are off the hook.

This is the big problem with FL and DGB. They are both good players and yet had a series of bungles throughout the game that I have to believe for them to be town. My heart wants to believe them I think, but A50 makes good points about DGB that makes me feel like I'm just being soft.

NM has been scummy toward me, but I fully admit my own confirmation bias in that situation.

A50 - so your premise is that DGB is probably the common denominator here and we will figure out the other scum tomorrow?

This is likely the case. Infinity did claim he was checking DGB, and MM did claim he was going to verify Infinity, so it makes sense. Otherwise I struggle to see why Scum would target a "Town" slot knowing a claimed Watcher was on them.

I am town, though. He'd be protecting a townie.

I hate meta with the heat of 10,000 suns but tons of players fakeclaim as town - I am one of those.

Marky Mark tunneled on me the whole time he was alive and I refused to believe his tunnel came from town - it was laser focused beyond anything I'd seen before. Every time he would venture out to suspecting another player he'd always conclude that it was somehow me who was scum and then ignore his other scumreads (Tayl0r and Infinity flipped town, so his reads were rubbish). I was enraged with him (yeah it's just a game, so let's call it game-rage!). He would observe me towntelling and would dismiss it as faking towntells. He was infuriating.

DkKoba's message to me was a very long one. The part that spoke to me the most is that they wanted to yeet Marky Mark. I thought, finally someone believes me that he's scum and needs to be yeeted. DkKoba also had a plan to slow roll the reveal of night action which sold them to me as hard town.

I was investigated N1. It was a partial clear only due to the nature of the investigation.
