We attempted to recruit grendel last night.

We dont know if, or why, our actions fail until our recruit posts in the cult thread. grendel has not posted and has demonstrated no knowledge of the cult thread.

ergo, either grendel is mafia (i fail, we lynch him), grendel is sk (i presume i fail, we lynch him) or grendel was RBed (which we cant account for or know until we lynch him)

Realistically I should have been your best shot last night, because (A) It confirms me as not Scum, (B) You're sure not to kill a Townie, (C) There was still a chance PK would cult me.

Your second best shot was to take out PK (thus confirming his recruitment after death ability) but that would have been of a much lesser importance.

Now we are presumably @2-3-1-1, and you need to take out CULT and hope THEY shoot, while Scum shoot another Cult (thus bringing it down to 2-1-1-0) and tomorrow you eliminate the Scum. << THAT is assuming we go with your plan of a No-Elim

1st: I was talking to Grendel. HE should've shot me last night.

Let's say I do vote Grendel and he is Town (because if he's the last Scum the game is over as I said). We would be @2-2-1-1
At Night I get culted and it's 2-3-1, but Scum will

shoot PK. No other way around it, literally. If they even holster, Cult wins by achieving parity (would be good for me if that happened and I was Culted, but I am calculating for worst scenario case for me). If Scum Shoot Town it's obvious they also hand the win to Cult promptly, and if they shoot me/Gamma they are postponing the loss one more phase but still lose eventually.

Scum's ONLY HOPE is to shoot PK AND for PK to have been lying about the recruitment from the dead thread part.

Which now begs the question of why PK never culted LAVENDER. Wouldn't the DOCTOR have been an OBVIOUS choice?

But ANYWAY, 2-2-1 tomorrow and Town & Scum need to be allied against teh Cult still (what an ironic situation). 2-1-1 going into N9. and depending on whether PK can recruit while dead. If YES; Cult can either recruit a townie with a Scum kill on Cult still (1-1-1), recruit a townie with Scum killing the other Townie (0-2-1). That last one is obviously still a Cult win, but the 1-1-1 Town lose and become Kingmakers.

My concern now is PK canNOT recruit while dead 9and I am leaning this way because NO WAY Baker makes a Role that is virtually guaranteed to win from the get go). In this case; 2-1-1 going into N9 means 2T vs 1S on D10 and Cult have officially lost.

So, it looks to me that my best move is to still try to win as 3P. except I canNOT visit PK.

So, No-Elim today >> 3-2-1-1 >> Scum shoot PK still >> 3-1-1-1, and let's hope Grendel does have a shot left to use on me AND that PK canNOT recruit from the dead >>> 3-1-1.

If PK canNOT recruit from the dead then the Scum kill should decide how the game goes from there. They either:

Shoot me: 3-1-1-0
Shoot Cult: 3-0-1-1
or
Shoot Town: 2-1-1-1

And we take it from there.
