I think your explanation is reasonable and I agreed with your pressure on Baltar, it just came out a bit undercooked as I feel you're trying to force yourself to stay engaged

i got annoyed with the interaction, especially when i realized it's not gonna inspire me and get me to form reads as much as i'd want. like, some stuff he did is scummy when looked at from a specific angle. but i didn't Actually Believe in it anymore at that moment if that makes sense.
