there's a reason i extremely rarely do second-hand meta, if i wasn't there when the game was happening, i just confbias myself if i look for specific things.

I found this part fairly compelling.

I'm not ready to take the heat off Shoshin right now, but I don't think your instincts are wrong here.

The only thing giving me doubt is that sometimes town players try stupid style gambits. I have no idea what IV is doing, but I definitely noticed he suddenly started engaging when I said I might be open to joining you there.

I mean, they probably both aren't scum here. I'd suspect some number of scum are in the background right now if it is Shoshin. If Shoshin is town, I'm mostly going to be scanning the pile of people trying to stay off the wagon for flimsy reasons.
