Do we need to make up our own restrictions so as to avoid duplicating restrictions?

Likewise is it per person or is the task per room or is the room and task in anyway related?

It sounds like a restriction can occur post room. For example I could go to the engine and then have a task or restriction that follows me through to the day phase. Is that correct/possible?

1) There is no public information about what a task can or cannot be other than what is in your role PM. So as to whether all tasks are post restrictions specifically, you do not know that.
2) Tasks may or may not be unique. This is stated in both your role PM as well as rule 4 of the setup specific rules.
3) You have been given collectively as a group 3 tasks that you know no more than one other player in the game has. These are meant to function as mod provided fake tasks which you can use so that you do not have to guess what tasks may or may not be in the game.
4) For the relation of the tasks to the room the only information you have is the format of how tasks are given to town players, which is the part included in the bottom of your role PM.

I am the Airlock Operator. I get to lock rooms for a night, no travel to that room can be done in the next phase.

If either of you have a room you'd want to lock btw let me know. I don't know if people will know the room is locked until night

I lock on the room phase, and it stays locked until the next room phase. So people shouldn't know until the night phase that they were locked in. potentially makes it a bit tricky, especially if imposter kills are announced as they happen and no when found.

Day Phase: 7 days. Choice Phase: 24 hours. Night Phase: 48 hours.
24 hours before prod, 24 hours before replacement.
I have some unusual rules, please pay special attention to rule number 4 as well as rule number 13 in the general rules.
This game is complicated. Please read the game specific rules so that you understand what's going on.
Respect everyone's basic humanity. Do not be an asshole to people. Don't be a racist or sexist or really any other -ist. Respect other players displayed pronouns.

This game consists of three phases. The first phase is the day phase, which is exactly like a normal mafia phase. The second phase is the choice phase, where each player in the game will choose a room on the ship to go to. Other role based choices will be made in this phase as well instead of during the night phase. The third phase is a night phase where players will be allowed to view and post in their chosen room's private topic.
If you are alone with an imposter in a room during the night phase they will be given the option to kill you. Only one extra imposter kill can happen per night.
All town players have tasks. These tasks are described in each town players PM. You complete your tasks as specified by being in the room where the task takes place the previous night and conforming to the requirements of the task during the following day.
There can be duplicate tasks.
Town has an additional win condition and wins the game immediately if all tasks are completed.
When a town player dies their uncompleted tasks will become public information.
Anyone (even imposters) may claim tasks that are public information by PMing me.
Tasks claimed by mafia that are not completed are not counted against the town completing all of their tasks.
The imposters have been provided a list of example fake tasks.
If a miselim results in the death of the last town then imposters win immediately.

Role Description:

You have no special powers. You may talk with your teammates in the mafia PT at all times and each choice phase you will collectively choose a player to kill and an imposter to carry out the kill.

Win Condition:

You win when the town has been eliminated or nothing can prevent that from occurring.

Description of choice phase:

Each choice phase in addition to any other game actions your role may allow you to take you will select a room on the ship to go to. You will be given access to the private topic for that room at the beginning of the night discussion phase and then you and whomever else is in that room may talk in that room during the night. If you are in that room alone with another player you may choose to kill that player in addition to the mafia's normal kill. However, the imposters are only allowed a maximum of one extra kill per night so if multiple players are alone with multiple imposters the imposters must choose only one of them to kill.

Scum Team Tasks:

You do not need to complete tasks, however you and your partners have the following information:
Tasks can be either short (requiring one night-day cycle to complete) or long (requiring two).

An example of a short task is as follows:

You must have been in Cafeteria the previous night to complete this task. During the next day phase each post you make must contain fewer than 50 words (not including votes).

The same task in long form would be:

You must have been in Cafeteria the previous night to complete this task and remain there until the task is completed. During the next two day phases each post you make must contain fewer than 50 words (not including votes).

This example task as well as the following tasks appear in the game no more than once. Remember that tasks can be duplicated.
Each post you make must be done exclusively with capital letters.
During the next day phase each post you make must not contain letter e.
