Experience. Educated Guessing. Common Sense. All things that let me figure out what scum would probably want to do.

The scum taking tasks things sounds nice in theory but in reality your essentially hoping you guessed right on alignment with no flip (and if the person who takes them isn't scum and doesn't have a task in the same location as the task your taking your only further tanking efficiency, not increasing it.)

Sure you can get close to what scum might want but the only way to be sure is to be scum yourself. So don't act like you're the smart one because that makes you look informed. And just because we might not be able to get scum to take a task doesn't mean we should saddle the most likely people to be town with them. Like your suggestion is the dumbest idea so far, sorry to say.

And if only the few claim that have claimed now, we're essentially guaranteeing 2 NKs with no one looking particularly suspicious for them. I think claiming where we are going N1 makes sense for at least a lot of players.

I think I'm kind of a special case as outlined before and I still might want to claim it depending.

Like are people clear that that's the cost of not claiming anything? And that's worth not giving scum the information?

At which point it's pretty easy PoE to figure out who did it

except... I'm 99% sure that scum have abilities to lock people in rooms, jump between rooms, etc. it would fit and give them a way to fuck with the choice phase, which they absolutely have the ability to do

so... we're essentially saying "we don't know what scum has, we don't know what ways they can fuck with us, so why don't we hand them ALL the information town has to give them an even larger informational advantage"

i'm okay with the no elim because the reason you usually DON'T NoLim is bc the only mechanism town has to achieve victory is via eliminating scum.
