right so, i think titus is town. yes that's partially bc they defended me lightly. i am v susceptible to that. i also think GE is town just misguided.
flea's contributions and setup spec come from a similar place where mine does, so i think flea is probably town too?

these are all very early reads that will evolve

that would leave the scum on the "massclaim" wagon being somewhere among like... alisae, battlemage, murdercat, pooky, cakez, tgp? not all of them obvs but at least one IMO.

of those im probably the most sus of murdercat rn. the way they were like "lol we're giving scum too much info but eyyy it's ok" really rubbed me the wrong way. like if you're town and think this plan is bad, why are you passively agreeing to it/going along with it/not stopping it?

cakez is #2 for me bc of the way they're playing around the idea... like, cakez is on board and agreeing with the massclaim plan, but then simultaneously like, attacking gamma emerald for voting me for NOT going along with the plan. it looks like cakez could just be trying to stir shit up to make sure as many people as possible look sus but i don't think it's internally consistent logically.

akarin is actually pinging me as slightly scummy? i can't put my finger on it, so call it gut for now, but something ab the way she's contributing to the discussion seems very much like LAMIST and not actual mechsolving or scumhunting.

bell is also sitting in the scummy column for me rn. i read bell's posts about setup spec/mechs as someone who has extra info but is pretending they don't. i wish i could exactly explain it. just... the attitude/tone of the posts. it raised my eyebrow and hey it's something.

outworlder came in and like, has v interesting interactions with cakez and murdercat and akarin, all of whom ping me as scum as well. so im either deep in the pocket of scum mindset or outworlder is coming at it from the same place i am (ie town)

I need to go to sleep, but I just really wanted to hammer this home because I feel like a bunch of people are being unrealistic about the POE chances after a double NK.

And people keep picking at little things without really acknowledging the point I’m trying to make, but I feel like I need to answer those things.

If we just all do tasks willy-nilly,

2 town are going to die every night

and there will

not

be useful POE to figure out who killed them.

In exchange, we avoid giving scum information and we get the tasks done slightly faster. I don't think this is worth it, and I haven't actually seen an argument that it is, beyond vague handwaving and dogmatism.

it wasn't intended by murdercat is both someone i find independently scummy and someone who would be in the first group

i think scum could do either. i think mechsolving is a good way to try to look helpful d1 in a mech heavy game like this
