BM has posted a lot. I think he's handling the pressure well if scum and seems fairly confident he's town this game.
I understand there's a lot of ground to cover but could you brain spew about someone you'd find easy to read?
I don't know your level of mafia experience, can you share so I can have an idea of my expectations in regards to your hunting ability?- Taly

I guess, but if people don't want to do a specific plan, I don't see the point in discussing much further. In post 1339, Akarin wrote:I think the most frustrating thing about mech talk is it's completely necessary in setups like this, but people's eyes glaze over when it starts.
I think there's plenty of AI stuff in there. Specifically in MurderCat'sapproachto sort-of agreeing with stuff but not pushing it. As their responses to me trying to point that out where they got into "well I was among the first to claim" as a defense. Why do you think that's totally irrelevant to alignment?
I'm pretty solid on my approach with the setup.
>No lim decision is delayed a little latter D1.
>I want to group but I don't think everybody should, especially if they'd rather not.
>Claiming rooms is up to the person but I think it helps the above two setup takes more.
Do you want to group with somebody for your room today? I made a requote post-chain that never went beyondMurder/Flea...
As forMurder, I didn't see the"I was the first to claim defense"or the context around it? But I don't think"sort-of-agreeing"is AI as a principle because there's 16 slots to sort in 7 days with a lot of focus on mechanic discussion. So I'm not convinced of your read here unless you give tangible examples...
also, do post links instead of quotes if you must. That's easier for me to look at, please.

Because forBlitzo wrote:@Taly - dcan you go more in-depth on that barter statement?
Why is that scummy?
Who are your other scumreads and why?DGB'svotes - until mine - have been onto more popular wagons and I can't tell if they're trying to push people off reads or to upstart a wagon that threatens to lim.
I can't tell the sincerity behind their posts and I feel like they're dismissive to anyone they think is scum, which is usually more annoying than scum, but I want to push it right now.
Titusis someone I'm sorting heavily because I don't know what to make of that OMGUS take of my vote onDGBand I want to gauge their POV over the no-lim vote just yet.
I honestly don't have many scumreads at the moment. Not something I want to admit, but I'm working to rectify this.
Then what changed your mind onDrippingGoofball wrote:@Taky My votes are to make the game move forward, not to barter. To create alignment indicative content. Pressure people, force them to take stances, inspire them to participate. Yeet scum if I do it right.BM/Blitzo?

I don't know what to say other than... just tell you to ask what you want to know? Uh.SirCakez wrote:

Thus my post
It's definitely more in-good-faith to just ask if I'm not clear about something rather than perpetuate the narrative that I'm convoluted, which I feel others have done.(Alisae, DGB, Reck, even Murder a little)

Akarin's read is probably the third or fourth person that has stated such in yet I see no reasons for any of them.
Why is it so hard to get people to explain things this game?

I've played a few games of mafia, if that's what you're asking.
As for spew, I still don't really understand what you're looking for?
I feel like I've explained the majority of my reads so it's not like I'm keeping anything secret, so if there's something specific you want on someone specific I might need you to point fingers.
As for BM, I don't see how he's handling the pressure well or how you can confidently read him town?
I actually feel like that idea is sort of wishy washy and needs more elaboration.- Bell

@Blitzo. This is a good enough explanation for you in regards to early play in this game state. That plus, you know, intuition/scum bullshit. In post 1343, DrippingGoofball wrote:@Taky My votes are to make the game move forward, not to barter. To create alignment indicative content. In brief, I don't agree with all Gamma's reads, I think some of them are kind of ridiculous, but I kind of see where most of the stuff he says is coming from and it seems very actively solvey. Posts like 516 or 1029. Or the "scumslip" argument on Reck and then dropping it and thinking Reck was stubborn town rather than getting tunneled on it.In post 1346, Bell wrote:Could you explain Gamma, Titus, and if you have time (you can half ass it) Pooky?
Titus it's partly that she's sitting stubbornly on No Elimination despite wanting the wagons for scumhunting. She could be pushing a wagon on town if she were scum, it's reasonably likely, and if she were scum, having more wagon analysis for BS later would be useful, but she's stubbornly sticking to what she thinks is best for town. Is it that impossible that she could have agreed with Alisae "for the wagon analysis" or something?
Also her mini argument with me yesterday, I thought she resolved in a very pro-town way when it would have been trivial to make that more anti-town.
Pooky it's the joy of trying to solve the setup stuff and how I feel we're kind of mind-melding on parts of it and I feel some frustrated-bear at places when I was feeling frustrated too. Not in the way that tons of people just want to whine about too much mech talk or "still being in RVS" (which yes, I know was Titus, but I don't think it's a scum thing, just a counterproductive thing that happens in a lot of games). Pooky feels like he's having the same thought process around some of this stuff in a way that I don't think is easy to fake.- Taly

1. I don't get Gamma's confidence or where it comes from in regards to his reads. Normally I would think scum faking conviction if I didn't have peripheral and direct experience with him playing this way as town. Mostly, it's just weird and not very convincing.
2. I don't think titus is the only player that gets at least a little something from VCA, if anything it doesn't make sense that she wants to end the day with less information than we would've gathered through normal play.
3. Sure.- Thestatusquo
