Anyway it seems like we are going to elim today, I am happy enough with the comp of the Blitzo wagon compared to Titus and I think Blitzo has things that are actively kind of scummy so if we want to try to shoot the scum then fine. But I think there's good reasons to think that tasks are viable and miselims hurt us more than usual for that reason, so if it were up to me I would no elim.

Work is far busier than I thought.
Will not be officially catching up until later tonight, though I'll be lurking about until then.
I've read a number of pages (up to about page 10 I think) and I think MC is suspicious for pushing cake for supposedly agreeing with a similar assessment of the plan.
Reads like changing his opinions based on nothing.
As for claiming tasks and rooms, I'm not sure I'll do that yet.
I will wait until I catch up before making a decision on whether or not I should do so.

Let's start by looking at this opening from Blitzo. He begins with promises to catch up, but work is busy. Sure. Then he attacks the thread for being "pointless drivel", when most of it is genuine mechanical conversation and discussion that has unveiled at least a decent bit of information. He promises to "officially catch up" later, but in 893 he uses working to explain not catching up - again - and then says it's pointless regardless. 963 calls the thread nonsense yet again.
Not interacting with the thread, repeatedly promising to catch up and then not doing so, calling essentially everything that had been said pointless. This isn't coming from a town mindset, I don't think - it's coming from scum who don't feel the need to actually catch up and sort in any way.

Work is calling again, busy until a bit later unfortunately.
I will note that voting into the no elims might prove fruitful - I feel like that's an idea that's obviously bad so there could be something behind it.
BM being there probably means something.

This post confuses me for a couple of reasons - supporting an idea that's "obviously bad" because it "might prove fruitful," using a single scumread (who's also... not much of a scumread, considering that by that point, the only thing Blitzo had posted about BM was "@OWER - I can see that you want to get the ball rolling on BM but is there anything else actually behind that?") to justify this admittedly obviously bad idea.

Just generally, I don't see the motivation behind Blitzo's posts as coming from a solving, town mindset.

I've pointed out why the last two sentences here are bad in 979
but the rest of this post is bad as well. attacking people (specifically dgb) simply for pushing you is classic newbscum behavior, and trying to throw shade on your wagon by calling it a "supposed 'case'" and generally attacking his own wagon specifically like this is a lot closer to scum behaviour and motivation than town.

Sorry if I missed it, I checked your ISO and I know that you've been talking about it but I'm just not really seeing it.
A task win as a primary win where we outrace scum by doing tasks before they simply kill us can't be possible.

the task win is absolutely possible in source material and explicitly an alternate way of town winning the game, but blitzo literally dismisses it out of hand and cites Reck in the same way that Haschel does. i genuinely do not understand why you think this is impossible, but please shift your perceptions here.
