The biggest reasons to think he is scum have nothing to do with setup spec.

1) pushing two misyeets and trying to blame others/claim he knew they were wrong the whole time.

2) failing to deliver on a NA that would have cleared another townie

3) not dying as an outted investigative or a sub optimal kill.

Saving you was an obvious way to pocket you if you're town IV. That's classic scum play: white knight flailing townie. At worst, they flip green and you say "I told you so". At best, they survive and stan you the rest of the game, even when you're obvABR scum.

It doesn't matter how helpful Datisi was, that doesn't trump someone getting a guilty on you. There was no guarantee even that ABR would follow the plan. He is wildly unpredictable. There is no way that me as scum would let him live last night.

You could easily ice Datisi the next night.

My prior going into this day was the ABR was pretty townie and seeing all this heat on him seems just a little shocking to me. I might come around but for now I’m at least going to play devils advocate here

My thinking on my targets were as follows:

N1: was going to pick Datisi originally because he is paranoid and I didn't want the game to get in a pointless town on town fight. But I was worried about RBing him in case he was a power role, so I picked Ico because I know Datisi would just follow along if Ico said "trust me."

N2: I didn't want to interfere with the ABR-IV interaction (though my gut wanted to RB on ABR post Cakez flip), so I decided to town myself to a less obv town person as a way of triangulating my claim today if I lived. I also figured if there was a sleeper scum, I should try to hit that person because they'd be the one to NK.

I wasn't scum reading Peta, but with two town misyeets now, obviously we need to reconsider the game state and put all realistic possibilities back on the table.
