General

1. Obey all MafiaScum site rules, they override any rule I have written here.
   
2. Never quote any communication with a moderator, this includes your initial role PM and any questions you ask. Paraphrasing is allowed.
   
3. Do not contact other players to discuss the game outside of the thread. This includes every medium including offsite communication.
   
4. Play to win THIS game not future games.
   
5. Do not use unreadable to hard to read text such as small, invisible or codes.
   
6. Do not use provable randomness including using a RNG tool.
   
7. Never impersonate a moderator.

Voting and Deadlines

1. All votes and unvites must be bolded such as
   VOTE: JacksonVirgo
   or using vote tags such as VOTE: JacksonVirgo
   
2. Hidden votes such as in spoilers will not be counted.
   
3. If I cannot understand who the vote is to the vote will not be counted, although I will explicitly state that I do not understand who. Nicknames and abbreviations are okay, as long as I understand them.
   
4. When a player reaches majority of votes, any changes of votes will not be accepted. All players can feel free to still post until I create the final VC.
   
5. Players may vote for no elimination.
   
6. The first day will last 10 days, and any following will last 7. Night phases will last 48 hours and nightskips will be allowed for any night but I'll start explicitly asking for them around N4.

Activity

1. You are expected to create one game-content post every 48 hours, those who don't will be prodded for activity.
   
2. If you are prodded, you have 24 hours to post in-thread. Prod dodges will not count, you have to create some game advancing content. If you gather 3 prods in total over the game you will be force-replaced unless under specific circumstances.
   
3. If I have not yet found a replacement and they post in thread they may retake their slot, only if I have not force-replaced them.
   
4. If you are going V/LA please post in the thread or PM me. V/LA players are exempt from the prod rules for the duration of their V/LA.

SETUP INFORMATION

• Nightless
  
• Shady is randomly chosen to be Mafia or Town. Their name is revealed SoD1.
  
• Shady will be told who the Mafia Goon is SoD1.
  
• If Shady is Mafia, they will be told who the Town Flagbearer is.
  
• Mafia Goon and Mafia Traitor will both be able to communicate in the Mafia PT, both will be aware of Shady's alignment.
  
• Only alignments will flip among eliminations.
  
• Town Flagbearer acts as just a Vanilla Townie if it's a Town Shady.
  
• Win conditions are the following:
  • Town Shady eliminated. Mafia Wins
    
  • Town Flagbearer eliminated. Mafia wins.
    
  • Town eliminated twice in a row. Mafia wins.
    
  • Mafia Goon eliminated with a Town Shady and Mafia Traitor is eliminated. Town wins.
    
  • Mafia Shady eliminated and Mafia Traitor eliminated. Town Wins.

I think the most optimal play would be to vote Shady.

I thought initially it's better to lynch into the pool first and then lynch into the dichotomy the next day, but I don't 100% remember.
But because of the no mislynch two days in a row rule I think this is the option that gives us the most room, although I could have calculated it wrong.
