This is genius.
so, theoretically we don't know how scum approached the setup. They might have wanted to dominate one thread with the 4 man team or they might have wanted to play it safe with a 3-3 split.
But *we should play* as though scum are dumb and did a 4-2 split. So if we hit scum in one thread, we should *turnstile the scummiest person* after that to the other thread, and then the other thread should stop turnstiling until it is confirmed there are still scum in the thread.
But yes we should absolutely be playing 'both threads' on the assumption that we we can actually fully eliminate scum from one thread and get like a massive mechanical townblock lol

In theory it'd be nice if one of the two threads could decide to only turnstile its towniest reads and the other thread could turnstile its scummiest reads but I don't know there's any way to actually execute that level of coordination without being able to talk to people in the other thread directly
I agree that we should be turnstiling our second scummiest slots in our thread (after the slots we plan to flip), and it'd be nice if the other thread turnstiled their towniest slots in response so we could keep up that pattern but@other threadif you want to just flat out reject this plan feel free to say so, I have no way of enforcing it and don't want to fight about it tbh

Yeah, the numbers give Sator the ability to choose how they manipulate the game state. The obvious 'best' choice is a 3-3 split given the way the mechanics work, which means they can try to manipulate the reads of the game for when things go back to combined by gambiting on a 4-2 split to screw with us
By the end of the game that ability to choose will really F with our reads probably

I think that the idea of getting a scum free timeline (and only focusing on one) is pretty fucking great. I would like to knock scum into the other timeline. Yes, I am sure that different scum distributions give scum different abilities, but I think the upswing of a scum free timeline is worth the attempt.A hydra of Nacho and Tammy!- Sirius9121

I am pumped for this game.
I read the rules once and as far as I understand them, this should be more or less right:
We should try to eliminate all bad guys in ONE TIMESTREAM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
This is like focus firing in an real time strategy game. Win ONE battle, not try to win both.
The rewards for winning one battle are tremendous. The second we annihilate SATOR in one of the two time-streams,every single person in that timestream becomes an ICHowever there is a time limit for this bonus - it must happen BEFORE night 2.
"If all Sator Operatives are eliminated in one timesteam at any time night 2 and before, it will be announced in the respective thread."
I assume SATOR would distribute their units at 3-3 to make it so its unlikely we can get this bonus because we only have 2 elims - however if we treat the turnstile as a secondary elimination mechanism, we actually have 4 eliminations to try to reach this goal.
So for example if this timeline is the one where we r fighting for dominance in, we would be elimming the 2 scummiest slots and firing via turnstile 2 more scummy slots into the inverted timeline - if we eliminate all the baddies prior to n2 we basically have a full IC team and we can just mop up whoever survives in the other timeline when the pincer occurs with a fully stacked IC team.
So in my mind I'm treating the turnstile as a secondary elimination mechanism prior to N2 with caveats.
