This is kinda why I voted Piskop and sort of Gyphx. scum read Gyphx for staying up all night to be first post but then begged off to sleep the second he got first post. I kind of know that it's his thing though to be first post person. So laned on piskop instead, though kop seems kind of confident in himself!

I was a little worried about brian when the game opened; didn't like his reasons for spiffeh in that first post; i think there is pretty obvious potential town motivation for wanting to switch threads

I'm going to be honest with you. While I can see this now, I didn't consider the town motivation for it until I read your thread.

Like, your thread seemed more concerned about utilizing roles by using the turnstile.

My thread seemed to care a lot more about yeeting scum and making a large confirmed townblock.

Probably going to pass out soon. Nacho's alarm will be going off in a few hours, and sometimes I can't fall back asleep after he leaves and I've had no sleep for the past week. I don't have really any great thoughts right now. I've mostly been trying to keep up with both threads and pick up what I can. I need to actually read the shelly/bell stuff, and I'm really hoping my brain works tomorrow. We'll see!

I am interested in that response from ffery though because I thought we were just trolling/joking with each other at the start when she accused us of ignoring her reach out on page two. (I told Nacho about it and he said *sadface* I missed a reach out.) But then she responded the same to skitter's post, and now I'm wondering if she was being serious. And if serious then I have flashback to Battlestar Galactica when she tried to fake paranoia me. I understand excessive paranoia better than most, but I'm wondering if she was serious why didn't she consider that we just hadn't read the other thread yet? And would either of us really ignore a reach out as scum? IDK. This might be nothing and now I've told her to just say it was a joke, so it's meaningless but I didn't want to forget this little thread I had which might mean nothing at all.

I went through the opening 2 pages of the other thread and I can tell they're going to get everything messed up soon enough. They are VOTING when they should be UNvoting, but -to be fair- I probably would have been confused myself if I was in their shoes.

In another note; is it bad I'm TRing unwnd for being stubbornly against the mainstream idea of using the turnstile as a 2nd elim? I mean, would scum!unwnd want to bring that much attention (and negative reactions) if they rolled scum, and especially so when they don't even know who the candidates are?

I don't understand why Shelly wants to get out of here so bad. Right now my read on the room is pretty tepid. I'm finding a disconnect in the conversations because they only feel self-motivated. The other thread has a different feeling where it seems they're more willing to get into it with each other. I maintain a lot of my quick takes. There's a lot more to poke at in the surface with the other thread, Superbowl9's first posts were just ringing alarms for me and still do. There's a provided nuance here and I think what you have is players who are more careful about not revealing too much. The same attitude doesn't work where you can just say 'you are scum' and then instantly force engagement. This goes back into how I feel about Shelly, wherein her own perceived effectiveness is just..not working.

Notsci, if you are reading this, do you think that is intentional on shelly's part as scum where she feels she'd have a better chance of blending in over there?

Other thoughts than that aren't as developed, I feel decent about voting Pisskop at this current time for gut reasons.
