those were reasonable concerns initially but they're also superficial and attack the possibility of town cohesion. What if scum leads on the vote flip? What if scum dominates the conversation? Fearmongering scum controlling one mech but not others is scummy. You're acting scummy in this argument, and I think the reason you're acting scummy about mech through fearmongering at this point is because you're scum. The way you're approaching my slot right now in our interactions is *very not town*

We're past it, I asked you again and you still can't answer: Why was it town consensus. It feels like you're leading your argument only based on faith because you happened to agree with the plan and nothing else. I'm trying to get you to give me reads on the situation and instead you just wanna tell me I'm scummy.

I personally have nothing specific to point out (as in: quote a post and point out why scum Brian wouldn't say that), but I think his overall tone is genuine. I -of course- don't like his execution/elimination choices, but c'est la vie.

I can get you thinking I'm saying I think everyone saying it was a good idea was town but that has never been what I was implying, I was saying there was no voice of opposition to the plan on this side of the timestream that really was making any good, coherent argument against it. So it sounds like you're trying to present your own fearmongering as a sign there wasn't town consensus. If we're totally misunderstanding each other because you totally misrepresented what I mean by "town consensus" that's too bad but I don't like the way you were approaching my titus vote either at this point and your fearmongering looks even scummier now that you bring it up again

Usually town consensus to me is a phrase used once you've established more in the game to get there. I'm not trying to be petty in word usage but if they think it was town consensus then everyone who agreed must've just been town for...?

Most people agreed with the plan. I don't think it's crazy calling it town consensus - maybe not everyone agreed, but most did and you were the only one vocally opposed. Town consensus doesn't mean that everyone who agrees is town - you're misunderstanding the term there.

Hench's views of the mechanics are opinionated and polarizing but not necessarily correct; in particular, her view of the scum-sided portion of the setup and how it can only be reversed based on strong mechanics play is a bit chicken little, but I don't think there would be that much conviction behind that talk if she did not believe it.
