Noraa, this is the last time I will reply to you for a while, until you’re out of your tunnel. I want you to read this spoiler and genuinely try to understand what I’m saying, because I haven’t done one of these since pre hiatus and I don’t intend to do one again.

I have been playing this game for about four or five years of actual time with a hiatus in there. Nacho was in my second game and when my slot was destined to die, it was thanks to him seeing I was town. He has a proven track record of reading me and as I’ve already said- early notsci looked up to him as a player. He had a consistent track record of trying to read me and didn’t get (too) mad whenever we’d draft scum together and I’d fade into lurking. He used to classify my strengths as transparency and finding who to follow. It’s probably part of why I lean kinda hard into the obvtown thing.

He’s told me you were town, and I brushed past him like you are doing right now because I thought I had to be right, my view of the game state is the only view of the gamestate. He then went out of his way to explain, in detail, why I was incorrect. And then you posted that wall where you tore into me.

I’ve seen that wall before. That Sakura tell we’ve been talking about? She was a player who would get incredibly volatile as town but much less so as scum. She was one of my favorite people to play with, regardless. She used to have meta of self voting as town incessantly (and it’s not a good thing for this to become meta, btw). So, I know how to read that big wall. It’s why I’ve stopped in conjunction with my immense respect for Nacho (and Tammy too I am a huge fan of you both but have more experience with nacho). I also, just like Cabd, see a lot of my old self in you. I’d (inadvertently) throw the game into a toxic nightmare.

I’m thinking of my respect for nacho, how I used to have to read Sakura, and how I used to behave in games myself to come to this read. Now, I understand you’re about to write this off as just me being scum. I understand you think your view of the gamestate is the only one, but you need to understand there are several people with better views of the gamestate by virtue of hours and hours of gameplay with me.

Other players have similar track records with me, though not to the degree nacho does. You’ve seen me communicate with Cabd and ffery purely based off meta references- this is due to our extreme familiarity with each other. Brian and I have three hydras together (because we forgot the original password). Unwnd, who you’ve said has fantastic reads most of the time has a solid townread on me. Spiffeh, who is a phenomenal player is townreading me. Flavor is townreading me (but he’s got the gift of gab so he could just be white knighting)

You don’t have to like me or work with me. It’s fine. But I’ve dropped the campaign against you and am actively encouraging others to do the same. If I can trust others views of the gamestate, so can you.

Any further instances of you calling me scum will be met with the nacho quote of calling me obviously town in the same vein you are. But I don’t want to do that anymore, I want to make this game fun again for everyone. Trust the people with immense background reading me. Please.

I wanted to reply to this part cuz uh there's some problems with it.

...... I basically dont care about any of these players options cuz they tunneled me here and with my knowledge of what my role pm says, I know their reads aren't right here. Except for Spiffeh who had a post that said he TRed me after my first 5 ish posts and didn't know how I had gotten so much attention over here. That looks so damn scummy. Like he's never mentioned it before but the moment the IC is like "Noraa is town, you dumbasses", he's like "Oh yeah I knew that all along"

And also my first 5, even 10, even 20 posts dont ping either way whatsoever so the SRs and TRs bc of my first few posts are all shit bc of that.

It is proven(to me) that their reads are wrong in this game so there's no way I would ever TR someone bc one of them does.

Noraa it wasn't really a threat. It was more a matter of practicality. Looking through your iso, it looks like you've been really struggling to articulate townreads, particularly in your own thread. Right now I feel like I'm one of the only people standing between Shelly and oblivion, which means you're now shading the one person on this side that agrees with you on shelly town. If I was in your thread, I might rightfully be concerned by your play simply because not being able to form townreads is one problem a lot of scum have. If you are town, I think you probably should focus more on townblocking at this phase--beyond shelly, who is not even in your thread. Who is town in your own thread other than yourself noraa? Looking through page 1 of your iso and the only townread in your own thread I think I see is Peta, which is a pretty underwhelming townread tbh. Now that I've looked at your iso, I *totally* get why you seem to have been digging your own grave this entire game. You need townreads grrrl, and Peta ain't cutting it.

Pfft do you think faking some reads is difficult for me if I'm scum? I'll inform you that I have zero TRs rn and whether or not I'm getting TRed has nothing to do with you and I dont know why you even care.
Dunno how bad you think my scum game is but its not bad and you need to stop thinking that.

LLD can appear emotionally town as scum, in fact it's one of her selling points. I'm looking at her fight with superbowl acting as if he's newb scum coached actually playing his first game. I don't believe LLD could actually believe that because a) she doesn't miss details when engaged. Superbowl is obviously not new a1) the setup advertises complex mechanics and b) his join date. LLD is also pushing semantics and threatening a tunnel. LLD is much more emotionally manipulative than that when legitimately pushing. She doesn't go straight from 0-100. She applies the screws gradually and harder until you crack.

Then there's skitter. I have an independent scumread on her. She comes in and says she townreads them both and that they could never be S V S. That seems like such an LLD thing to coach.

this doesn't really match my recent experience playing with town-LLD. She came out of the gate with a scumread on me in the FGO game, pushed it a little, was absent the thread mostly for a few days, came back and pushed me again a couple times, noticed we had almost exactly the same reads (except Our Lord And Savior Assassin), and backed off.

Maybe this is what it feels like when you're scum against LLD? (I wouldn't know...the two times I was scum against her in the before-times, she kinda ignored one hydra and scrutinized the hell out of the other hydra and decided we were town).

But that's NOT how her trajectory on Noraa in Death Curse worked.

Titus was scum in Death Curse, though a replace-in. Anyway, not sure whether to call this intentional mischaracterization or not.

I liked Titus's predecessor, too. Like I said, I dunno if this is an intentional mischaracterization or not, but I definitely disagree with her characterization of LLD's town game, particularly since I've come back from hiatus. I have 5 completed games since August and LLD-town was in 2 of them. I also watched decent amounts of the Death Curse game in real time.

If you're basing a big chunk of your LLD scumread on Titus's thoughts about LLD-town, I hope you'll give this some thought.

I'm making this post outside of the game and I want to speak to you at a personal level.

Noraa, please stop being so negative. I think you're very sweet and I enjoy having you in my games. I apologize if you feel attacked but you're weaponizing your feelings right now and nobody knows how to deal with it. I want you to understand that this is a game and character cannot be judged entirely by game-related actions. That being said, I think right now you are feeling personally attacked and that your only chance of fighting back is by making others feel the way you do by saying they're "Bad" or "Can't read you". If you want to be respected or to be taken seriously, I need you to let go of those feelings and really rethink the way you're approaching this game. I also just want to say, if you are being underhanded by the means of acting this way exclusively beacuse of the game, I will be very saddened by it, as it has lead me to reconsider my thoughts on you purely through empathy; I townread you.

I am humbled by what you said of me but know that I don't treat myself as a person who is always right, or has god-tier reads. Each game is individual, and what I want most out of this game is to have fun and enjoy the puzzle aspect. Right or Wrong does not dictate how much fun I am having, nor how much I enjoy someone either. I don't look at you like 'well, Noraa is always wrong so I don't care' I look at you as the way I described you previously, and that's what matters most to me.

bork wasn't hatcheting you. He was looking for data that could push against our nachotammy townread as a sort of brake (if the data made sense to him/us) or a validation (if the data didn't resonate).
