I think something worth looking into is whether there's any evidence of either of the flipped scum having prior knowledge of Gypyx/shelly's real roles before they were claimed in full. If they seem genuinely convinced about the Ascetic claims, then that bodes well for Gypyx/shelly town, but if they're generally disinterested or it's unclear, that could mean they already knew something was up. Something I'll be looking out for as I read

I find myself subconsciously sorting Gypyx as town and ET as the potential scum between the commuters but I can't put concrete reasons behind it. Something about Gypyx's approach all throughout early D1 feels passive in a way that doesn't match with the early Ascetic claim from a scum perspective.

it's hard to explain but some time in early game ydrasse just becomes very transparent town to me. effort, a very down-to-earth communication, idk how else to put it but ydrasse is officially in the town tier

I'm largely skimming through D1 because a lot of it is dead players interacting with each other. So far my most confident read is HBB!Town, which fits well with his claim being convincing. Gonna lock that in in my head now. Ydrasse really doesn't feel like scum to me either. And those are the two reads I feel particularly confident in at this point in time.
I think putting {Gypyx, shelly} in a matrix isn't helping me process them so I'm going to stop doing that. I'll just acknowledge that they're not likely scum together. And my read isn't strong on either of them - I lean town on Gypyx but could see that being wrong easily.
I want to feel strongly about HUB one way or another, but uh I don't.

HUB also sus, not sure if I buy his post hammer reaction. + most likely explanation for his demotivation yesterday is just that he's Vax's scum partner. The wagon was not based on an angleshoot soon after Vax repped in, he was genuinely just spewing scum.
