And no I don't think so. Role is provable if it goes to a townie as opposed to a mafia mate. Follower is a weak PR for scum in a game that is likely PR heavy meaning having a town looking role would provide the value.

For me I don't think Gypyx is scummy here, and Shelly's role isn't quite important enough for me to want to go there

Based on my understanding of him, getting read wrong spirals him in a way that results in the above play if he flips town.
I also don't think his ego would ever let him die day 1 as scum.
