Your assertions about things that don't make sense in a Scum!Peta World:

1) A wall post at DayStart

2) Claiming Child.

I will debunk these:


1) A scum has more control over the start of day and is prepared for Day-Start. There is no actual good reason why a scum would not have a wall post written and ready for the day-start given they control the nightkill.

2) Claiming Child. Again - Peta knows that I am the actual Child. He knows that by claiming Child, he will guranteed go into a 1v1 against me. Now think from the POV of Peta-Scum.

You know:

1) Pooky looks scummy and disconnected

2) Mathblade is tunneling Pooky scum and wants to vote there.

3) If you have MB's vote, you only need Titus vote to win the game, at worst Titus says no but MB is with you hard and you can convince her later.

Either way this 1v1 is very very good for Peta and fairly simple for him to win as long as MB behaves as he expects, which is to remain tunneled on Pooky.



Can you raise any counter argument for why these actions actually do not make sense for Scum!Peta to do?

MB's biggest problem here is that he is

that he is unwilling to assess all of the facts.

He would have to not claim child, I become an IC and then he'd be trying to convince MB that you are scum.

It is much easier for him to convince MB that Pooky is scum, when MB is already tunneled on me than convincing MB that you are scum.

like this is just a much simpler and cleaner way for Peta!Scum to win.

a) claim child - get a 1v1 vs Pooky

b) don't claim child - Pooky becomes an IC.

He chose choice (a) because he thinks 1v1ing me is the best way to win because MB is tunneled on me and that's 1 vote he needs, as long as he keeps that vote there he can't lose.

Peta can't afford to let me control the game state because he doesn't know what I will do if he lets me become IC. It is a much better shot for him to take to just push for a 1v1 with me where he can more or less predict which side you are going to fall on.
