Normally, roleblocking the scumteam is what it is, but the site staff managed to perfect and coordinate the use of their investigative(s) to find and out information on the entire scumteam within 36 hours. Then comes Datisi, a vanilla town, who pieces the rest of the puzzle together (within 30 minutes!) and the flagbearer gets lim'd immediately after. Honestly, one of the fastest and most successful turn-arounds that I have ever seen. And shellyC and shellyC had us fooled for 2 whole months, impressive play, almost RAS/awestfie levels of deception.

Sure. First, let us consider Pelican's role. Pelican's role *could* be to make it so that HBB's role can masonize a commuter, creating a single IC-commuter. In fact that that possibility exists is precisely why HBB has to be one-shot, he cannot create a mason-commuter team, in any world where Ydrasse is town anyway. Some of my thoughts here get wacky depending on Ydrasse but I'm going to try to not get too distracted there.

Beyond that let's look at a Sam post or three:

Kinda think HUB townslipped here in a way that's believable. HUB isn't considering the possibility of a Strongman in this analysis.

I felt really strongly on reading that Ydrasse was town, and Mafia Commuter Enabler feels icky af to me as a role. This setup looks horribly unbalanced to me without her role as well. Like I'll go back and look at her ISO when I get a chance but it really doesn't feel right.

vs.
1 scum bad fruit vendor
1 strongman [either commuter or with a scum commuter/enchantress]

would that sound balanced?

because that's this setup

what if we just accept that *all of the commuters* are basically vanilla

they NEED to be vanilla for *scum to have a chance*

if the commuter enabler is *tied* to the magical fairy, then the commuters are always just that, they're just vanillas and the setup is as described.

What happens if the commuter enabler is not tied to the magical fairy, and then scum lose their strongman in days 1-3?

then you're left with
