This post feels like coming from an informed perspective tbh
skitter I was voting titus because GX still needed, and still NEEDS to sort her. GX is town. Titus may very well be town. But Titus was *not playing* our thread and I voted her to make her look *at this thread more*. She's still really off her town meta even if you town read her despite that. This is a point I've already explained and it's obvious you haven't really been reading my posts, that's fine since we're not even in the same thread but stop pretending like your read of me actually is nuanced.

I'm in the camp that thinks that if we think A50 is scum, we should elim instead of turnstile, and turnstile someone else

I think thinking that we'll all be cleared with 1 turnstile is too optimistic and is playing to our best case scenario.

Another way to put it is, we're really far ahead if there's only 1 scum and we elim them today, we don't need to further play into that scenario. We need to account for the scenario where we're not far ahead, and not fall behind more by turnstiling someone who should be elimned

Because it introduces the possibiity of sending scum to the timestream we've been trying to purge scum from.
I highly doubt we achieve this goal
There doesn't seem to be an upside to sending someone over here, so we should do it as he's saying

He is actively attacking the *actual* townblocks in the game and succeeding in getting them flipped. If he is town then he has transparently scumsided in his actual play. As I said, flip him or vig him, but he's bad for the other thread one way or the other. He is pushing town that do things that scum think they can push, not scum.
Um. No. Gamma is often miseliminated and flavor is not easy to read.

lol that's fair, but the fact that gamma gets flipped every other game doesn't mean he's actually that hard to read, it means that town most the time can't be assed to keep him alive
In post 4235, skitter30 wrote:My issue is that i look at the reads holistically and they seem 'timely' so to speak, in that their reads are expedient at the moment but i cant track the underlying thought process that should be driving their reads overall. I wanna believe skitter's scum just because she has the audacity to write this when she's really obviously read like, at most, 20% of my iso

but it kinda doesn't matter, it's a terrible take but I can still see worlds where she flips town, I'm gonna disengage from this now. not my thread and not my problem. she really shouldn't even be solving this thread, even though I know cross-thread evaluation of her kinda hinges on people actually believing her take on me is real, I still think you're going to need a solid extra data point to evaluate her.

@FB I want to be turnstiled the second N2 is over and we either have a completely clear thread or...not

Until then I feel that turnstiling potential scumspects is more valuable

imagine having this thought on day 2 when having heard the plan day 1 and never having calculated that not hitting scum before the re-converge means there would not *be* a reconverge because scum would win the game before we even got there

we have to clear one thread because if scum are double killing every single night we are going to lose really, really fast

additionally the information of this solve *never goes away* -- we know the starting conditions of the threads. by the time the re-converge happens, we can still get townclears if we *ever* hit 4 scum in one of the two timelines, even if it's on day 6 or 7

how does town have this thought process *today*? you're all acting condescending like this guy is obvtown somehow but look at what he's actually saying

clearing one of the two threads is literally *the core mechanic of the entire game*

I know he wasn't actually postulating that we never hit scum but his thought process still seems jarringly behind where I would think town should be in thinking through the plan

A50 is very clearly crumbing a PR, and I feel like Spiffeh is tunneling that and trying to fish it out of him (or just outright elim him).

Either that or he's just scum that can't find a better scumread.

Also, I don't really trust Deacon right now since we can only trust their 'word.' And I have no idea why Imperium would want scrutiny on my slot when they literally turnstiled Pooky against my wishes (and the Shelly elimination didn't really have anything to do with me).

I just haven't kept up with the other thread so idk who that would be

I'm not confident limming anyone else over here, HP is still a town read even though they don't look too great with a shelly flip
Also, trading elims here is highly inefficient. Like, what's the point of turnstiling two players if the plan is to just elim both of them?

I think the current thread mechanic is more important that whatever a50 is crumbing, and there are so many investigative claims out there anyway. Is his role really that important?

Yeah, but this one isn't really one we should be elimming. And I feel like it's better served in this thread than that one.
