i actually wasn't. i was the like third (?) vote after pooky came in, left the thread, checked momentarily and saw that it was getting close to hammer, unvoted literally seconds before noraa lolhammered, and when i came back like an hour later t'was hammered

i was pretty clearly on the record as wanting to get the day over with and was already wrongly suspecting FL. i hadn't really anticipated him self-hammering and ending the day early, though.

My read on you is irrelevant due to the lack of leverage yesterday. I'm speaking from a observer's perspective. Observationally, you, dandelion, fb and Owl had the best town status in the game and were easily in control. Any of you putting your foot down probably slows the wagon and stalls it to stop. Maybe it takes two.

So why did FL die? that's the question

sb9 wanted him dead and firebringer didn't oppose it, deacon and dandelion weren't even around during the whole fiasco, iirc

Look, Skitter, it doesn't do you more justice to sit here and argue "no it's not true I could have saved myself, honest!"

If the question is "did Pooky try to save you" that's a different story, and one I'm trying to get to the bottom of.

But we need to start with the fact that your head was on the chopping block and close to dead. And more pushback against this fact just makes it seem like you are not trying to argue your position from good faith but rather to discredit the reliably true premise of the argument, which isn't great.

In general, I just want to get to the bottom of what motivation came here, and also not make this a waste of a day where we just lol kill pooky.

cause if pooky is town, we lose the game on that move

but if pooky is scum, we still aren't in a great spot if no new evidence and information and interactions are created.

So this conversation needs to progress and to progress I need you to start working with me.

The truth of the matter is, you were on the chopping block and slated to die next to Midway. One of you was gonna die and Pooky took control of town apathy and inverted the apathy, causing pressure on FL who then folded and conceded his own death, to which none of our town leaders lifted a finger.

So why did pooky do this, why did no one stop it, and where does it leave us?

Yeah, SB9 wanting him dead is a ??? but also probably just town.

FB didn't oppose but thst's kind of FB.

Issue is, Peta, Dea and Dan were around for the the "fiasco" because it lasted longer than like, a day you know? So they had to have seen it happening. Deacon themselves admitted thye had no strong feelings and let it happen in a post a few pages ago.

So I don't really think this is as dismissive as you're making it sound?

i dont' think this is me being pedantic, i'm saying that your view of what was happening is wrong because if he wanted to come over and save me it would have made more sense to do so like ... a day or two (irl) earlier

i think one of your key questions is: why didn't the town leaders stop it from happening. well, i think that at least a few werne't online (like i don't think dandelion was). i wasn't or i would put up more of a fight as it slid to a hammer i imagine (i'm not necessarily inserting myself into this category of 'town leader' but i could have made it a lot harder to happen if i had wanted to, but it all went down in like three horus and i wasn't around for most of them)

Currently I'm not voting because I want to ensure nothing quick happens today. I wanna grind this out to get value.
