i'm aware this is contradictory to everything that i just said but i was operating under the assumption that scum were letting it happen since he was town. if it doesn't i can't assume that anymore.

more like not objecting to it going through, or perhaps slightly encouraging it. if he's town i think it happens (fairly easily) and if he's scum i think it stalls through and the votes don't appear.
i'm aware that this is somewhat convoluted and contradictory as compared to what i was saying like half an hour ago but i was under the impression we had the votes for it till like just now.

pedit not necessarily but she's the one who came up with the idea in the first place. if he's scum she's probably town but if he's town she could well be scum. i.e. they're never partners and if he's town she's trying to get the misflip. it's possible they're tvt but i think tvs is actually rather more likely

if we think that ss is just going to turn around and be the elim tomorrow contingent on titus town flip then i think that's probably a sign we should turnstyle

setup spec wise i guess can see more reason for a lover pair that starts in opposite threads to be S-T (town has to spend resources getting them to the same thread for a potential reward) and it makes a T-T pair that starts in opposite threads that we were willing to spend a resource to turnstyle only for them to both flip town just a big "haha u fell for lava trik fuck you" (this is how i would see it when designing this at least)

conversely i see a lover pair that starts in the same thread probably viable from either T-T or S-T

this? setup spec wise my gut says s-t also but i don't have as good a handle on setup spec so like i wouldn't bet on scum!ss just based off of that, and my speculation based off of these sorts of things is often wildly off base so i don't put so much weight onto it
i have a much better handle on gamestates and thread dynamics and timing of when things happen and stuff like that
