I’m trying to decide if NPOM is the kind of jerk who puts in a vanilla cop in a 3 goon setup

I am in the middle of insane cooking and won't be posting much for another couple hours.

I had a thought about all goons overnight but it seems unlikely with the ways for kills to go missing in this game.

A mafia vanilla cop or maybe role cop doesn't make a lot of sense against known town power. :/

? It does make sense imo. Town has two ways to block the rolecop+a decoy result in BP. RB/JK also provide ambiguity that results in bad things even if one seems successful.

I recall you get a message from the mod, not the player, but did things change?

You should get a message from the MOD that ben is town.

NOT a message from Ben. If you get a message from ben, then it's mailman.

I don't want to say exactly what the wording I got in the PM is in fear of rules.

I received a message about Ben being town where the author is not explicitly the moderator or another player.

Moderators send mailman messages anonymously according to sample wiki PM
