Ig you will scumread me whatever I do, but yes I do try to change my meta a lot. People here will tell you that I don't really like "crossing the line" and making people not have fun. That being said I am very petty

That's an option. The other thing that I was thinking about was putting in a universal townie vs the scummiest player (since I think the mechanic is a bit scumside) but with this playerlist I think playing true to the intent of the mechanic is the most fun.

I imagine that some people will get bonuses from winning altercations which is why I was playing around with the "one town, one scum" duo but then also worried about scum having extra influence or getting a one-shot "choose the winner" and it's kind of just a wash. There's the potential to get fucked no matter what we do so we might as well just follow our hearts and fight for FUN.

I just think it becomes easier. See my recently completed Guns and Roses game.
I became less of a target and became strongest non-confirmed TR only after we had 2 scum flips and I could start actually doing association analysis.
Maybe I should say it's simply easier, less work, less open for interpretation etc.
