the strange thing is how quickly you go from "there is a distinct lack of vax" to "bork must burn" in like 3 hours without Bork actually doing anything from 6PM - 930PM EST - it feels like you gave up on being able to save him because I had successfully lobbied enough people onto him that it was an inevitability that Bork would die.

I re-read D3 and it's like:

Skitter V1 on Bork (12/21 -747PM)
Pooky V2 on Bork (12/21 -1149PM)
Fiery interacts with Bork about "reading her off interactions" (12/22 400AM)
Ben V3 on Bork (12/22 717 AM)
"There is a distinct lack of Vax today" - Fiery (12/22 601PM)
DGB V4 on Bork (12/22 920PM) E-1
"urge to burn." - Fiery (12/22 928PM)
Wall of Death on Bork - Fiery (12/22 1042PM)

Then can we please vote ffrly?

It feels convenient and the timing does not feel natural for that conviction to develop suddenly.

there's also notsci trying to steer the wagon onto me instead of bork somewhere in there but I am more interested in Fiery atm.

It's not the first time I've gone through a slow burn to a massive wall

It's not even the first time since coming back from hiatus. Though the wall I'm thinking about was more of a paranoia read I wanted out there for future game days if I wasn't around.

I don't get why you would post a paranoia read of someone who was going almost certainly going to die.

I don't want to fight this tooth and nail if it's going to happen because it probably all happens again tomorrow if DGB is town. But I can't ignore crap reasonings.

Crap reasonings that may not be from town. :/

Yeah I know - I'm town and I don't know DGB is. I get what the correct play is here.

In illicit I was at least following a plan.

My bork walls were maybe 40% paranoia? His responses to the various pushes/votes day 3 pushed him well down the PoE for me. And then his reaction to my walls were lackluster. Even so, I was hesitant.

The wall I posted about zmuffin in the FGO game was more like 80% paranoia, and I was afraid he'd skate by while at the bottom of the town pile in a POE situation.

Pooky's push on me feels gross. If I were throwing a vote down right now, I'd either vote him or hammer you and I don't know which is the right choice. Your fatalism resonates, though, because that's where I'm at. Though fatalism isn't always town.

And I don't think I'm ever going to reach a strong townread on Vax. I had him as pretty town at one point on Day 1 but he's never risen back to that high water mark.

Cabd died N2. DGB was an outed investigative of an unknown nature at that time. Cabd was my second choice but I wasn't going to let a known PR die for free.

Why? Day 3 we had an outed investigative PR and a very high chance of a counterbalancing strongman. I want to make sure the PR lives to Day 4 and gets an extra result.

There's no point in claiming my real role there.

No strongman -> Shoot DGB, get a save
Strongman -> Saves use to potentially kill me later, shoots DGB, gets a save

Shooting me directly is the worst case scenario, which is what would have happened if I claimed regardless.

Like I have to somehow justify not stopping kills the next two nights and justify why scum isn't shooting me. None of this happens if I just keep the bulletproof claim.

I've been on both scum votes. Both of them went out of their way to shut me down and demoralize me Day 1 with the help of one sack of deadweight named petapan.

You've randomly AFK voted me and disappeared the entire game. Make a case on me or shut up already.

I think it might be but isn't even worth worrying about, just in the sense that DGB should 100% be one of our three burns even if you might prefer someone else first.

I also want to believe that Isis doesn't let a setup through that actively deceives town in two different deceptive ways while giving scum 0 power, but Isis does have some weird ideas sometimes.
