I think it's interesting that town basically got info from two miselims (Titus and HC) without actually miseliming them. In retrospect scum probably needed to force those through to have a better shot in the game.

fun playing with you too, I REALLY was loving the vibe going on with your slot but I was quite scattered this game.

Scum was not very aggressive this game which gave me quite a few red herring impressions because I figured scum would've been forcing their will onto the plist more.

Any benefit scum garnered from the plist's approach, the notions were generated from town (like the plans).

It's kind of impressive that town pulled this one out considering the volume of TvT there was here.

idk I approach mechs as another way to scumhunt someone, even if on paper it means nothing.
in chat mafia a lot of setups are heavily mech oriented. people read into HOW people claim stuff and discern alignment from it. (like ppl will call out a cop claim as scummy since they might word their report inno Player, when the system message says player is [alignment], etc)

if you take a look at betrayal mafia I, normally no one would think anything about someone claiming a sword like Lavar did(in fact forum players might instinctively townread it), but i used it as a sort of way to discern the intent of the person doing said action.

mafia is complex everything can be read into and deduced even if you disagree with it.

I've probably played more chat mafia then you have tbh.

I think a lot of the issue is you played in such a way as to set yourself up in a position to deep wolf, and that was just never going to work for a goon in this setup.

This is an outside observers perspective but I felt like your day play made it was more likely they would be elimmed at several points. I think you were too distance negative about them in ways that actively made them more likely to be eliminated. Also, blitzo submitting the kill the night he got blocked was just straight up incorrect I think.

This is less relevant with Flea, but Blitzo in particular I think the scum team was far too distancy-bussy early on such that the slot was under constant pressure and the eventual need to actually support the lim came from getting the slot investigative role blocked BECAUSE of that early game pressure on the slot. I think if scum had just been much more hesitant to jump on the blitzo wagons early and much less vocal about calling him suspicious that role block doesn't even necessarily happen, but even if it still did the PR shouldn't be submitting the kill.

Basically aside from Flea's slip I think the main thing scum didn't do well this game is prioritize which roles were important and try to keep suspicion and wagons off of them.

I think you were too willing to bus and distance from buddies. Sometimes it is okay to defend them. At least when I draw scum I like to figure out both who is the most important role wise that needs to survive as well as the most likely. And that sometimes means pretending not to see obviously scummy things my partners are doing because I need them alive.

great game, incredible performance by SirCakez! Either he has improved a lot, or just really stepped it up for this game. Is there a scummy for outstanding individual scum performance in a horrific scum defeat? If it wasn't for the alt wincon, he maybe has a shot here. And even at the end, hilarious that it's him pushing hardest to help town get over the line. Which incidentally, is why abandoning the alt wincon would have been completely stupid. On the strategy, claiming rooms was key to getting maximum utility out of my role, although we moved in big enough groups that it never really came into play. Happy to survive, unclaimed, despite being pushed endlessly.

I get that towncred is really intoxicating and that town played well but there was so much wiggle room for what scum could have done this game. It felt like our team just kept shooting themselves in the foot for no reason over and over, and it's hard to stay motivated when the team insists on making things worse for no gain.

I also strongly disagree with the concept of deep wolf - though I also value bussing and limming scum way less than a number of players so maybe that's just me.
