As for Bell, I read less than 10 of his posts that game because we were scum buddies so I don't know if I can even answer this question, I do feel that his Day 1 here was a lot more natural and aggressive (mainly with the shelly push) where in Pooky vs. FL he wasn't like that and really only doing the bare minimum to get by. However I wouldn't put it past scum!Bell to recognize the faults of his scum game and adjust them here.

If I were to purely base my read of Bell on meta I would call him town here but there enough other factors here that would make me hesitant to write him off so easily for meta reasons

what's your plan for forming reads and evaluating people, how do you approach the game, what are you doing right now as part of that. i hate the term "solving" but like, how are you doing that, what are you looking for

because right now i see someone who was lobbying to come over since page 1 but not only appwears to have done no homework but is not really doing much in the way of critical inquiry and is instead just getting mad at me and i'm rather confused by it. i would assume you would put some value on dayplay and not just solely wanting to come here because of your role, because it can't be that valuable, so like

I think you are overstating my desire to be over here. I requested it immediately Day 1 purely for role purposes and than rescinded that request because I thought trying to clear Forwards of scum was a stronger use of the turnstile than anything I could offer with my role

I also wasn't aware the Purple Room had a turnstile until I was hammered so I didn't really expect to be over here until Day 3 at the earliest. You are right that I have done no homework but I did have a few reads as a baseline and feel I have been doing my due diligence today to get reads on people and I've been transparent with them

Who is scum and why?

You probably are. After all; you said so yourself.

But seriously, I am not having "scum" reads. I am having "suspects" instead. Why? Because we have still to flip ONE red role. Not one. So all I have is suspicion and speculation.

For instance, I -obviously- suspect Pooky. I tracked him and -according to Annie- he apparently went nowhere, which is disappointing.

Now the way I play Tracker is not make it clear whom I suspect. I leave it in a pool so scum can't guess whom I'm targeting next. Gun-to-my-head I might give in and provide a "vague" read list, yet I also may just provide a "fake" read lost to still make my target unpredictable (or -at least- not easily guessable)

Like, here's a read list for you to work off, but I give no promises it's accurate

Petapan < Mechanical clear for me
Deacon Blues/Dandelion Wine < Guessing the NK was meant to hit one of them and Gamma took the hit instead
Spiffeh < Play is almost too scummy to be scum
skitter30 < Call it a soul reade (I had actually provided the reasons earlier)
PookyTheMagicalBear < Had no night action so don't see why hw wasn't sent to do the kill last night
Firebringer <I historically struggle to get a TR on FB, but he has yet to trigger my scumdar
Lady Lambdadelta < I didn't like her rage over the preliminary read list I provided (that I even said explicitly was not my own). Otherwise, I have nothing much to say for/against her
midwaybear < This is the most volatile read I have. By PoE, and unless the other thread is dominated by Scum; this has to be a scum slot here. Yet, by play I have more Town pings from him than half the other players. (Actually, I'd only TR Deacon, Dandelion & skitter more is I ignore all mechanical reasoning)

Up to you now to decide which slot(s) am I misplacing on the list on purpose.

okay i didn't remember you rescinding the request, sorry, i have not been keeping track of everything. that's fair and understandable. mostly i'm trying to understand how you think about the game and want that stuff answered

I don't know yet, hence why I'd like this thread to remain open

I mean if we collectively agree that inverted has ~5 scum we might want to send town there to shut down turnstiles and make it so there is a theoretical possibility of flipping scum as well. If we think inverted has 6 scum then we need to make sure we can reverse them turnstiling scum into our thread. Some of this might seem like fearmongering, but given our *intention* was to load that thread with scummy slots, I think it's not unreasonable to think we might have succeeded and there might be ~2 scum from our timeline now in that timeline, which means this is the only town-dominated timeline

there's larger strategic decisions we need to think about here beyond just "who we gonna kill"

basically if town wants to self-hammer this timeline we might as well just concede because we'd have to literally play the entire remainder of the game flawlessly which... newsflash, it's not looking like will happen

like I've been debating whether there's a chance it's theoretically impossible to even flip scum today. if there were 2 scum turnstiled out and spiffeh was the third then there could be 0 scum in this thread and 6 scum in the other, which means scum could wait for us to mislim here, then turnstile in scum post thread-lock to ensure they still get a nightkill. That more seems unlikely since I *think* the purple room turnstile resolved before daybreak and thus if spiffeh was last scum then this thread should have been confirmed clear, so we should have at least one scum here. But if it's 1-5 then this is the *only* thread we even have a chance of flipping scum in and we should just take it as a foregone conclusion inverted is flipping green today.

That is probably too paranoid, but I think this is a *fucking weird* gamestate that it's been very hard for me to engage with and I think we can just cool our jets until we have a better sense of what is going on. Personal take

The transfer would have happened after all other night actions, but before the start of the next day.

If one of the threads had been cleared of scum, then that would have been announced when it happened. Using the purple turnstile was the last chance to have an announced thread-clear, and an announcement didn't happen at the end of Night 2.
