However, I think in the posts you quoted above talking to Deacon about your A50 read that you telegraphed pretty hard how you were going to approach reading him. Do you think it's possible he was aware of this and, given your history, knew exactly what to say and how to approach you to get you to town read him?
What specifically in that post makes it more likely to come from town!A50 than scum!A50 given your experience with him?
Additionally, how do you view his inactivity and lack of engagement here? Is that something that has been alignment indicative of him in the past?
a few thoguths here:
- yes, a lot of my a50 read is specifically abt how he chooses to interact with me: as town he's inclined to try to sort me early, and as scum, he feels he needs to play around me, and like if he's scum i don't think the fact that i telegraphed how i was going to appraoch him would change anything - he'd know that's how i'm going to approach him anyways. me stating it aloud doesn't change how he's going to approach me as either alignment, but would make the read/interaction less inscrutable for the rest of you lot
- i think the lack of engaement is utterly nai. i'm used to him being more active as both alignments, i don't thin the lack of activity has much to do with this game in particular. i'm imagining/assuming it's due to irl things/how much time he's putting into mafia these days in general.
- i think the things he pulled out are things town!him would think, and things that scum!him woudl have a bit of a hard time coming up with that early. (like he might come up with reasons to townread me, but probably not that many *that* early)
- specifically:
25 - he townread both you and me for the exact same reason i townread you early on, so i gve that townpoints (he could easily have 'failed' to see both)

82 - i tend to be very 'polished' as scum, and i think it's quite plausible that he thinks i would have sorted all fo this out in the scum pt (i.e. vs in thread, like i did here). i'm not sure this is something *i* would townread myself off of, but i believe that is how he might appraoch me

110 - while i might suck at mechanics as town, i'm very, very, very on point as scum, and he's seen taht in action several times, so again i can see him thinking this
and for the last point: not to toot my own horn too much, but I'm very good at positioning myself well as scum, and he's right, it's unlikely that i get run up like that there as scum, because it's unlikely i position myself that way as scum
while this is true, it's not helpful for you lot really, so this isn't something that i particularly feel the need to trot out, but i believe that this is something he could believe: he saw me stomp a game quite like this last year in TM - he was on my team, and that game mirrored this one in several respects wrt things like gamestates, tvt fights, length, spam, etc. he saw firsthand what i was thinking throughout, and how i handled it, and how i approached it, and how i took advantage of it to win. he then promptly took a longish hiatus and i don't think i've played with/around him since then, so it makes a lot of sense ot me that he thinks this
