The reason that post was strange is because it was meandering and had no point or belief in place. It was a rush job that felt more like you were filling space then thinking about it.

I love calling myself town when I'm town by the way. Which is relatively evident by this game and a lot of other games. I usually call myself town when I'm town and I actually tone down how much I say I'm town when I'm not.
Except when I get into a loop and can't solve. But obviously, I'm not doing nothing so that goes out the window too.

I'm heavily against the use of trust tells. Like, the literal idea that I have to give you any sort of hint in learning how to read me basically means I have to then subvert it in the future.

You taking this tack, is not so uncommon that I don't see town use it.

Funnily enough, if Spiffeh is also scum with you, you both used fairness a lot to win arguments and get town read.

How is it any more or less manipulative than how other people get others to view their slot?

I can say I'm already out of my scum range all I want. It's up to everyone else to believe if that's actually the case. If I actually went out and proved it, then that would be a huge issue.

Who is scum and why?

But seriously, I am not having "scum" reads. I am having "suspects" instead. Why? Because we have still to flip ONE red role. Not one. So all I have is suspicion and speculation.

For instance, I -obviously- suspect Pooky. I tracked him and -according to Annie- he apparently went nowhere, which is disappointing.

Now the way I play Tracker is not make it clear whom I suspect. I leave it in a pool so scum can't guess whom I'm targeting next. Gun-to-my-head I might give in and provide a "vague" read list, yet I also may just provide a "fake" read lost to still make my target unpredictable (or -at least- not easily guessable)

Like, here's a read list for you to work off, but I give no promises it's accurate

Petapan < Mechanical clear for me
Deacon Blues/Dandelion Wine < Guessing the NK was meant to hit one of them and Gamma took the hit instead
Spiffeh < Play is almost too scummy to be scum
skitter30 < Call it a soul reade (I had actually provided the reasons earlier)
PookyTheMagicalBear < Had no night action so don't see why hw wasn't sent to do the kill last night
Firebringer <I historically struggle to get a TR on FB, but he has yet to trigger my scumdar
Lady Lambdadelta < I didn't like her rage over the preliminary read list I provided (that I even said explicitly was not my own). Otherwise, I have nothing much to say for/against her
midwaybear < This is the most volatile read I have. By PoE, and unless the other thread is dominated by Scum; this has to be a scum slot here. Yet, by play I have more Town pings from him than half the other players. (Actually, I'd only TR Deacon, Dandelion & skitter more is I ignore all mechanical reasoning)

Up to you now to decide which slot(s) am I misplacing on the list on purpose.
