I still think publishing the list is a bad idea, because it doesn't actually help us hit scum today very much. Raya pointed out lists which make it likely that she's wrong on either NM or koba, but the best way to approach that is to figure out which one she's most likely wrong on and push the other one.

The tone of 1298 was off and that's what I at least had a problem with.

PEdit: koba is town because I trust my gut to SR koba, it was always at the back of my mind in bending and the next game I played with them they were scum and I SRed them in the first few pages. They're not scum here.

my thought progression wasn't off. I maintain that publishing the list is mechanically a bad idea, but several things happened from the first time I said I was against it to when I voted for it. First of all, my towncore wanted to publish the list. I'm playing a team game here and I need to trust my team mates. Raya argued for it with reason and I saw other angles in which the list would be good. There's my own time constraint and I started to dread having to play d3 with a NM green flip anyway. And then, the final point, is that both NM and infinity were going against the list by the time I voted for it, which means I was wrong and the mafia was afraid of the list, at least eventually. So that's it.

This is exactly what I think happened. I think ScumDkkoba wanted the list initially, but the gamestate changed, which is why they were posting in a way where they said they were okay with the list, but then realized it would damn them. They couldn't change their mind on it or be outed either.

Yes because I'm more confident in my scumreads than my townreads. I've had some paranoia on you and raya, but I was confident in gimli and clidd flipping scum before the list was published. I suppose it made me a bit more confident in clidd, but not enough to be worth it.

PEdit: I don't think so but I'd have to reread. Koba's push on gimli was aggressive enough to make it unlikely S/S, but mostly I feel like it made koba town regardless of gimli's alignment.

Ehh, even then, maybe it wouldn't be worth a mislim. You might be right. It's hard to judge how valuable the ability to PoE later on is worth, but we can always publish a later list once we've hit scum.

Gimli kinda convinced me actually that even a townbloc of 3 might not make the list publish worth it.

I have no idea if clidd can be scum with infinity or not. I think clidd was really skeptical towards horsewoman on d1 and on d2 they don't feel svs in many of their interactions. but if clidd is scum, he is either with infinity or with both NM and amélie, which is even more unlikely I guess.

from my POV the teams with clidd are all too unlikely. but I'll still sit on this. we have time.
