Why does it make any sense to target a informed townie who knows of your innocence with a loverizer ability? If he's town, you are just decreasing town EV and giving the scum an extra cycle since we went into night on evens.
If he's actually informed of your innocence - then it makes no sense to target him since the benefit of a successful link (you becoming IC) is um, kind of pointless? He's already informed of your innocence, wouldn't it be easier to just ask him to claim ?
I wasn't going to out it or anything.
I don't want to target someone who's claimed it. That would have put a direct target on our back.
I also don't make the best mechanical choices because I simply don't care about PR's. I focus on day play.

In the scenario where Uncrowned is an Informed Townie that knows of your innocence.
The best thing for the town is for him to claim that and you to not link with him.
It is by far better than you getting linked and becoming an IC.
So that's why I don't understand why you would target him with your ability at night instead of just straight up asking him : "dude are you informed that I am town?"

you saw my posts in Pooky vs FL, right? I planned out stuff that happened on Day 3 pre game. Most of the issues were the team just didn't wanna discredit where it was necessary early.

I have an IC ability. I am an IC, not having the ability to do so doesn't change my role.

I think you think I put more effort into the mechanical side of things than I do.
I'm actually the type that sees crazy mechanics in games, then click away.
That's a major reason I don't play many Open games. I'm like almost strictly Large Theme games that are relatively normal Mafia. My games I mod show this. I can do large setups and wacky roles, and balance them.
I'm good with setup specs, and late game I can solve using mechanical stuff, but generally, I only think about that type of stuff when I'm scum.
A) I don't believe your role makes sense in this setup.
B) I don't believe you would play your role this way if you had this role.

Well, you're wrong. I don't know what to say. You're wrong. Just because you don't believe it, doesn't mean it's not happening, but go ahead and misfade me again.
This is literally the same thing Clidd pushed me for, but with the reasoning for pushing them as scum, which I wasn't even 100% pushing them or anything at the time.
yeah, this is decently true for town me, but like, I'm telling the truth here.
I'm not fake claiming as town. I haven't done that in a while.
But honestly, it's about time it comes back. People have been really bad at reading me lately, and I got misfaded more in 2020 than I have like in any other year.
I went years without getting misfaded, but that doesn't happen anymore because my scum game is so known now. Kinda sucks. Flavor Fever is real. I know it sucks to hear that, but like, it is.
Used to be only a few people had it. RC, RB, a lot of playstyle clash players. Mastina has it still.
Players who've only seen me the past 6 months have it hard.
Like I'm actually really annoyed with some of those misfades because I went on a large scum roll spree again. Happens like twice a year.

No that's not what I am saying about Uncrowned.
I'm saying that your thought process for targeting Uncrowned does not make a lot of sense to me.. that has nothing to do with whether Uncrowned is a townie or is a scum.
Specifically this exchange:
1433 why did you even target uncrowned in the first place? 1435 I thought they might be aware of me, and was possibly signaling me. 1436 which post indicated signalling to you? 1437 they've had me at lock town all game. I felt like maybe they were informed that I was town.
The reason I ask this series of questions is because I am looking for if you actually had this role in the beginning of the game and it's not just something you made up just now. The way I am trying to verify is to see if you were looking for breadcrumbs or signalling from your Night 1 target.
I am disappointed with your responses because instead of producing a post which sends a clear signal or is something that would make sense, you hypothesize that his role is one that is informed of both your identity and your role - this is something that does not make sense to me for two reasons:
1) It is pointless for an IC-loverizer to link with an Informed Townie - you increase the negative EV for the town while not gaining anything really since the player was already informed to be a protown player.
2) It's not clear to me you were actually looking for a lover crumb to begin with since you did not produce one that makes sense from Uncrowned.

that's because I fluffed it up because you needed an answer. I just didn't think about it more than that base, the rest was kind of subconscious.
I basically went "Meh, ill target uncrowned" and left it.
