What am I missing Dunnstrall?

Petapan pushed everyone in that thread. Hard. His reads were different than most people's on that side. You've said yourself that I made too many enemies in the guns and rose's game. What made Peta different in that lense?
Most of us know that people who have reads that are out of bounds are more likely to get eliminated than those that stick closer to consensus.

I'm poking at you because I don't get how that happened.
I don't understand how people who were playing in Smoke filled chamber could have looked at Peta's play this game and thought he was scum.

Well, ask him why he decided to trust LLD and how he came to the conclusion that Petapan was more likely scum or not based. Ask him how much he considered Petapan through the lens of smoke filled as a comparison and why he weighed it less?

It's relevant to me because I'm trying to solve the game.
This helps me understand your alignment. It helps me understand his. Rather I think it might.

I think there is at most one scum in Annie-A50. I think A50 has been incredibly scummy, relying on buddying me/Annie/you to skate by on his claim.

I don't think Annie is scummy. I don't find your case that convincing.
-Annie wasn't really buddying as I reached out to them first, and Notty is my primary hydra partner (and we have at least three hydra accounts together).
-I don't have a particular issue with his early case on you. You say he was rolefishing (maybe), but your focus seemed to be primarily on our thread early on and not so much yours. So is his early questioning of you really that unjustified? Seems like normal scumhunting to me.
-Annie pulling back from their Noraa scumread after Nacho towncases Noraa isn't scummy. I had the same impression of feeling pretty shitty for my own scumread of Noraa after reading that case, and think it would've been more scum-indicative of Notty to just ignore that case and keep trudging on. Why do you think Notty pulling back there is scummy?
-I do believe Notty would feel inclined to want to come over to this side and Purple Room with Deacon. I think having the opportunity to solve in the Night Phase with that slot is likely to come from Town-Notty. Him changing his mind on the matter seemed to have more to do with whatever happened between the three Hydrae on Night 1. I don't find him wanting to pull back there to be scummy, and once again, I would have been more concerned if he insisted on going to the Purple Room there.
-I don't think the way Annie handled their claim and wanting to come over to this side is scummy. Apparently him being in the same thread lets 'A50' receive the result as well, and Annie's reasoning is that he thought he wouldn't be able to properly crumb the results to the tracker. Seems town-motivated to me.
-I don't think Titus was as townish in her engagement with me as people like to claim she was. I really don't and wouldn't be surprised if scum are looking to take advantage of the opportunity to shade other slots for being on that wagon. I pretty much forced that elimination through yesterday and said I'd take all the blame for it. I do feel like Annie was mostly trusting me there than anything. They also haven't come out to blame me for it or deflect to me or anything either, and I think that's pretty townish of them.

This was short hand for a counter argument that was very ego-centric.
The first thing I suspected when I saw Peta just croak that fast was that
they were worried you'd talk your way out and I'd identify you as town because I'm a town hunter to an extent.

But I also know that, that's fucking stupid.
It could be anything from taking the opportunity of a couple of town votes to push through Peta with a heavy scum presence in the other thread.

Also his sudden 'giving up'
is easily explained by the negative interactions with LLD and others, plus the general environment in that thread. There's a clear ethical component to toning down rhetoric and his own temper which weakens his edge which makes it easier to eliminate him. But he'd do it anyway given social context.

There are too many variables and too many benefits to killing Peta town when given the opportunity with town already behind as it is.
There are a LOT of incentives to take an opportunity when it's presented.

What I'm trying to say is that I'm talking myself down it's relatively shakey. In some ways the thought is too simple and in other ways it's extremely complex and unlikely to be true. I should abandon this line.

Pretty much, Petapan probably blunted his own edge because he was uncomfortable with pursuing his win condition at all costs whether town or scum really. It's a person tell, not a scum or town tell. Maybe.

I get it's sort of a distraction but I'm processing and thinking out loud.

Not so much giving up as rolling over for A50.
