I read the catchup - I think it’s reasonable actually. I’m a bit of a fan of nopoint’s early fire, but I think Flea is okay.

I'm more confident in the dk, bugspray, and andre towncore. With townleans on FB and Jim. Idm taking a shot anywhere outside of these.

This is interesting, because frankly I kind of agree. It’s tough to be sure about bugspray, but I haven’t been offended by anything they’ve posted.
One thing about Koba - they seem to have made a concerted effort not to stand out as much. And that’s a bit new. They had a post where they openly say that they want others to start fights, and if nothing happens then they would. Koba not running into a lot of trouble or pissing people off I am definitely not used to.

Aha! This I actively dislike. You might not like their posting style, but it’s not like they aren’t giving you anything useful or alignment indicative. It’s also impossible to really fight this kind of attitude.

For what it’s worth I think geraintm is saying more than usual.

In my one prior game with him (here) he posted about 5x as much as here within the first 600 posts so I find that kinda surprising.

I should have phrased it more carefully.

I have seen geraintm take some stances as Town, and get shot for it. I have seen geraintm take basically no stances at all, be Town, and survive until the end of the game. But what I’ve mostly seen from geraintm are acknowledgments that early reads are bad, Town basically tends to function with very little early in the game, and that their vote is a crapshoot. Is geraintm playing like that here? I actually don’t think so.

Zuko I don’t think Cook is Town at all. Like I actually think they’re Scummy. I don’t understand why you expect others to simply figure it out like it was super easy. They’ve done multiple things that I find questionable.

the one i'm not really a fan of in there is the polaris one. how were they a sl when they hadn't even posted yet. I voted them but they were still null in my book. honestly feel like i'm nitpicking but it still stands out to me

The heading did say “Slight Scum Lean”. Having a strong Scum Lean this early is not reasonable, unless the player is truly horrible.

This is your biggest Scum Read, but between this and your vote on me putting me E-2, you don’t even bother putting a vote there. You’re just moving with whatever you think will get an execution, probably on Town, and it’s starting to seem obvious to me.

geraintm posted a full reads list and tried to seriously explain their vote on me. I find that somewhat odd for them.

Honestly, I agree with Andres reads. From what I can tell, Cook is at E-2, and I am okay with this. But, I am also on-board for a geraintm lynch. They have posted almost no content. SOMEHOW couldn't come up with reads on anyone by post 666:

I don't really have much.
Flea I have no idea what they are on about
DKKoba is talking so much they shouldn't get eliminated today.

Not understanding what someone is saying isn't a read. Thinking someone is saying too much also isn't a read.
And then they admitted in post 735 that quoting without analyzing and lurking around was as good as it's going to get.

Null-town so far but I'm hoping to see more.

I think he is not beneficial to the town based on my case above. I also think it's okay if different players use different arguments to justify their votes, as long as the arguments are logical and make sense. We don't always have to agree on each and every point for why we're voting for the same person.
