Not necessarily anime just more like didn't really need to say anything. Again, you either think Chara/Tweetie has scum or scum stayed away from something that didn't involve them. I only accept one of these two options lol

You're taking something that happened in a short time and applying it to the game as a whole when 3 slots are just not involved in the game yet and I'm sure another portion still need to catch up or just weren't around.

In a world where all slots are active at the same time. This read holds weight. As it stands though it's more like "if this were over 1-2 days" you can consider it an ignored situation.

Skitter floating Chara/mt as SvS was the thought I was having at the same time. I don't think it's the case just because I don't think that's scum!Charas line, to set up the accusation on MT in order to "reach" a townread. The quick flip kind of reinforces that.

Not to say scum!Chara is incapable of wifom but like, it's really bold to highlight a partner like that.

Firebringer- Notable slot, I feel like Hectic is slightly less likely to go for based on memey nature they go with sometimes. Ok with their play.

Morning Tweet- Someone I think Hectic would like vibing with, but not one of the more obvious picks. Hectic is going to want someone to vibe with. As noted above, not a fan yet.

Titus- One of my top picks for Hectic to have made when I think about it.

Xtoxm- I don't think Hectic not knowing these two (?) discounts them. Nothing to note tbh.

Venus Mars and Pluto (Nancy Drew 39, Auro, and Shiro)- If it were Auro or Nancy alone I can see Hectic picking these two, but based on hectic's thoughts on hydras I want to say he'd avoid picking a hydra (except the Pooky hydra, but also maybe not the Pooky hydra tbh)

Starcrossed (Pooky+Kanna Hydra)- Feels like the obvious pick for Hectic trying to avoid the most obvious picks, but is that more obvious than the obvious ones? Notably a hydra. Not a massive fan of their vibes so far. I want to hear from Kanna tbh because I'm not town leaning this slot yet.

Chara- An obvious pick from my perspective, but it feels like nobody else thinks it is. Probably my top pick for one of Hectic's picks. Not a fan of their posting so far.
skitter30- Obvious pick but I'm not convinced Hectic picked them, especially from their posting.

Ydrasse- An obvious pick. Perhaps too obvious. Don't think he picked.
Hopkirk- An obvious pick. Perhaps too obvious. Don't think he picked, but who actually reads and remembers their role pm lol.

nah, but i did do a search on times you'd mentioned SR before i made the guesses about SL/8-9 years in case it would give me more hints before i had to make a wild guess and i'm 95% sure i can point to the game you're talking about. i sometimes like dropping casual 'how tf did you know that' comments. a couple of people here can probably attest to that.

i think you will find Chara seemed to be an obvious/good pick from many other ppls perspectives too, but it is true not as obvious as say skitts maybe. i believe it was one of the undertale games where it had a really strong performance against or with hectic as scum

I'm curious what makes you think Titus is a likelier pick? agree on Gamma and I really dont think Hectic picks Lunar even for WIFOM, that's just risk for no reason imo. Which could make it brilliant but whatev

The Dannflor/Chara area is where id immediately expect him to go basically yeah. Maybe throw in one person he gives with from the ydrase/star/hop area, and throw in a curveball too

idk are people i don't remember. actually i think i've played with RCE once and they (as scum, or maybe their partner did this not 100%) scumread Hectic/our hoptic hydra for coming clean that we'd only been pretending hectic was blind. apparently if hectic was REALLY blind then he wouldn't be scum AND say incorrect things about the setup since if he was blind and couldn't read the open setup then i wouldn't have explained the setup to him or something. it felt a little reachy tbh.

@MT - do you think Hectic just straight up ignores all of the obvious picks? ignoring me and my townleans on Ydrasse/Skitter30 are evidence towards saying yes, but i'm not sure if i should treat that as evidence other obv slots are less likely to be scum too since the evidence i'm using existing kind of comes up either way and could be used to argue more or less likely i think

Titus just feels like someone Hectic would pick who's all around solid who doesn't have any real links (that i'm aware of) with hectic.

i feel like hectic values having some players he can vibe with but also wants to win, so he'd probably pick up (exactly?) one person he likes to vibe with. i think it's readable how much fun he's having late game, but that's something he can fake i guess by just leaving.

I do think it holds true that Hectic values having fun and would definitely pick players he would get along with, as the downside to doing so probably doesnt negate the benefits. Like yeah we expect him to do that but we dont know he's going to and all that

i assumed it's either one of RNG/balance like MT said/trying to remove some people they think the mod will pick/setup stuff
i don't really get chara as a first removal in any of those cases tbh? i feel like something like Skitter30/Dann/similar+Hopkirk or Ydrasse would be the initial mod removal. if i feel like yours seem really specific and don't vibe i think it removes the benefit of doing a mock draft?
