last game I was scum my whole idea was to try to claim as fucking dumb as possible because people would eat it up as being WAY TOO SUSPICIOUS to be suspicious

and when i was caught red handed killing the dead townie the fact that i pretended to be just absolutely fucking unaware and stupid let me survive longer than it should have

i wanted to do this BECAUSE people tend to go all "iamverysmart" and ignore occam's razor nowadays

i'm still p happy and comfy on adorable

I don’t know reck. I loved the idea of catching scum in my first string of posts, but I don’t know what to think of what has resulted from it now. It isn’t what I would have expected from scum and I’m concerned that I have been potentially barking up the wrong tree.

I know what you’re saying but is that the approach that Adorable takes here as scum? I’m in doubt

well yes but you're you and adorable is not you and right now it feels more like the sort of trivial weirdness scum would harp on over an actual scumslip

ok. my issue is that you're talking pure "theory". "scum can easily call a player fake." "scum can easily (fake) solve." "scum can make gut reads." those are things that are, in of itself, true. but you're taking them and applying them into "datisi is scum because of those things." (i assume you think i am, considering your vote is on a player that you supposedly townread.) you're talking theory, saying scum "can" do those things - sure, they *can* - and translating that into suspicion on me without looking at things in the context of this game.

the issue is that is a really easy way to fake a scumread. almost anything that people have done so far *can* be done by scum. i feel like you're not looking into ~why~ i did things or how they relate to me in this game or what they actually mean wrt my alignment, you're just slapping on a blanket "oh scum can do these things" read.

well yes but you're you and adorable is not you and right now it feels more like the sort of trivial weirdness scum would harp on over an actual scumslip

this is probably fine, we're different people, but it doesn't mean my lived experience is gonna let me let people walk away from being internally inconsistent
sometimes the simple answer of "they're scum and fucked up" is actually the answer (it's more common than you think)

but both you and dv seem to be cold on that so either one of you is scum with adorable or two townies are telling me this ain't it fam so ill sit for a bit

i feel Good tm about deas right now, like she poked and prodded around at adorable for a while and then backed off of her when she felt the time was right and didn't like... idk, keep harping on adorable for it? she feels like she's being reasonable where like... if she was scum and adorable was town she knows she could probably push through an elim on adorable given how the spotlight's been there so far and she just says nah, maybe i'm wrong

similarly this goes for peta too since they reached the same conclusion at the same time, like, unless this is some 4d coordinated move by them both as a team LMAO

a) two scum white knight the same townie off of such little pressure early d1
b) two buddies go hard to get pressure off of adorable d1 when it's so early

so at most, one of them is scum IMO

also stepping back, the larger point of my story ab what i did last time was pointing out i believe there's a site meta problem not "here's what i would do as scum"
the fact current site meta gives so much cover for people to do bad contradictory anti town things leaves scum so much cover to get away with murder

I’m definitely keeping an eye on things there and also always reevaluating my thoughts, but fwiw if I were scum with adorable I would probably still be bussing because the back-out is so messy as a buddy
