So they didn't throw our game but they scum sided, they decided to block Mastina's chances of survival, rendering titus sacrifice to clear her useless as well. It's the same as claiming scum in my opinion.

If Oil isn't scum, I'm looking at Bell again tomorrow. The incredible good-faithing through all obstacles is too much. Trying to make a weak case for saving Oil, when it's a lot more natural and easier to see the reasons for elimming them.

If Oil is scum, no way Bell jumps under the train here, so Oil-scum implies Bell-conftown for me.

Pretty much they're not getting out of this phase without cooperating with the town.
But the second they survive, they have no obligation to help us.
Except by telling them if they don't send the ability enhanceer to a pool of the towniest players, we would eliminate them next day phase.

But if we followed through with that we might as well have eliminated them early.

Likewise, there is no benefit for a protective role to help them.
So they are both constrained by us and the scum team's mercy.
Unless they have a bullet proof jacket, which, honestly they might I can't remember if they did in the anime.

Anyone else think Bell's playing the "i don't know better than anyone, don't trust me" card too much?

The more i think about it, the less a like Bell and Flea's willingness to keep Oil alive, or anyone advocating for giving them a second chance for that matter! They are a 3rd party that have acted anti-town.

The whole strat about letting them use their powers to prove themselves is flawed.

1)We don't know what “enhancing” entails (does it duplicate the targets, does it give more shots etc) and we don't know what powers do scum have, being ok with enhancing everyone's powers when the wolves could have extra killing powers besides the factional is a bad idea.
2) They can say they used it when they didnt, hinting a possible roleblock or jailkeep that we can't prove.
3) There is no way to prove that's all the abilities they got that could affect town.

Other reasons to not keep them alive

1) They roleblocked the entire player list after Mastina got confirmed town.
2) They tried to a frame player for it which is scummy as hell.

Finral makes a good point about Flea backing down on using their power when it's Oil on the line.

I will heal them if they're negative for the indicator, and hurt them if they do.

If both don't have the indicator we fade Oil.
If Flea has the indicator we fade flea.

and spare flea.

If so, isn't the above fairly self-explanatory? we elim the guilty one, if neither are guilty we elim the 3p-claim first. if both are guilty, I'd elim Flea first, but it clearly doesn't matter game-wise.

It's worth keeping the 3p alive if they are a 3p because, I don't have any other abilities and it's likely based on the current abilities that there are more town abilities out there that would benefit fi the 3p claim is true.

If oil is negative for the indicator they are 100% 3rd party.

Oil-scum means Bell-town. Oil-town means Bell is worth a good look. I don't think the claim is worth much - it's an easy scum fakeclaim right? Bell feels out on a limb. But they'll be sorted in due time, so I wouldn't sweat it for today.

Oil's ability got announced, also I don't start a game (esp. 13p) assuming it will be multiball, so know that we know there's 3P stuff involved we need to take that into account with Bell's investigative. If they come up red it doesn't matter anyways though yes

"I suicide" is a 3P ability in my book. Oil is clearly at minimum scumsiding so they are scum, whether that be scum 3P or true scum. Combine that with Oil's 3P claim and I think Flea/Oil are a 3P team that's scumsiding
