1) The person interacts with you in some sort of way
2) The read is made in relation to how the person is reading your slot

Where is the drive to just go and find reads, or interact with people without being prompted? Literally, all of your posts thus far have been just

I don't have an indepth assertion of their slot because this game isn't providing intricate tells, so a lot of what I consider is based at a surface level. None of their posts as of late indicate they want to talk about anything but themselves and how much they should be townread. It is in fact doing the opposite for me.

no that's fair, I'm like that too to an extent

I think Nancy places a lot of value in getting town read, like if she's not getting town read then that's her number one priority as town before trying to figure out other people's alignments. In general, I think she approaches people on an individual basis based on how they relate to her. So if she doesn't believe someone's read on her she hyperfocuses on that.

In fact I think she's a very sensitive player in that she's sensitive to how people are reading her and want it to be *correct* so when it's not she has to decide whether they're scum or wrong town.

That's a very circumstantial and a bit uninformed look about our interactions, I don't know why you made assumptions based on one or two instances of dialogue, given there is more to it. I've asked her to clarify on her reads (and other things such as her 'THERE MUST BE SCUM IN THE GAMMA VOTES') and instead she just goes back to essentially 'well you should townread me and im obvtown' you can see this for yourself. As for why I try to appease to her and say 'im not scumreading you for being nancy and I can't read AtE'? Should explain itself. At some point I have to make a logical conclusion that there is ulterior motive and that she is having trouble faking reads, so to make up for that she just ignores the necessity to do so.

I might have some bias given that I've played a lot with Nancy and feel like I have a pretty good idea of how to read her and also how to get her to produce content.

But I will say the 'well you should townread me and im obvtown' is largely alignment indicative, but comes out much more and with much fuller force when she's town. Mostly because I think she has trouble lying about things like that. There have been a few times as scum where Nancy has just dodged the question when I've straight up asked "should I be town reading you," which is why I'm town leaning the slot so far this game.

I think you'll find Auro to be the more readable part of the hydra from your perspective. I admit I still haven't read everything but have you interacted with that part of the hydra at all yet?

True but I might not do that always depending on the mechanic because that wasn’t a game where you could actually get yeeted but it is true in general.

Hard to really formulate into a paragraph-form case or something in relation to it. Chara TRs the slot but I think there are instances that give me pause, and I think the progressions she's taken (including the things she's talked about) are mostly safe/inoffensive
