There is no question because it can be proven I’m not lying. Do you seriously think I’m that much of a moron to now hardclaim aesetic if an investigative can prove I’m lying about that? The question is why you hide Ascetic when we're all claiming negative utility, and then ask your hydra mates in the PT what to do if an investigative finds out you are an Ascetic that didnt claim -- and you're asking them how to keep hiding that you're Ascetic. That doesn't make any sense from a town perspective to do, or at least in my idea of a town perspective

I know that you are an Ascetic, that is especially clear considering you crumbed having a bad role early.

Why would I be more likely to use the phrase "Torn" and put you at the bottom of my list as scum. That is why it's a bad point, it really has no bearing on my alignment and honestly is sort of towny because i stress over word choices as scum but thats a whatever point

Also if thats what gamma is saying then i missed that. I would say that it's sort of a red check that you show up as Ascetic (or appear to be ascetic anyway) but you didnt claim it with us. That is especially helpful in a thread climate that wants to find scum within us negative util claims, which has come up a few times

i don't like these posts. the first line of 2201 bothers me, and Tweet's read-post reads really... mechanical, not as in mech but as in the matter-of-fact placement of players.

i also don't like how Tweet's framed it, even jokingly like that, as me abandoning my townread on her, when she was previously concerned that my read seemed to be too strong for what it was and that i could be scum. there's what looks like a lot of handwringing, but with the actual list the players at the bottom are the ones she thinks Hectic would have picked, and scumslip. :<

It doesnt make sense to worry about being nightkilled far off in the future so much that you lie about your role, and i dont think i can be convinced otherwise. you also dont just have to nightkill players that are hard to elim, you can let them live sometimes

Again you’re not making sense. If you believe I’m not lying then why would scum!me be afraid of claiming aesetic? Gamma’s alleging that I will be redchecked which is of course wrong but it at least makes logical sense. You otoh are arguing that I’m afraid of claiming aesetic. I was previously townreading Nancy for nancy stuff but then she goes and does that which seems unreconcilable

I really wasnt stressing over the wording and didnt mean for it to imply that the two cancel each other out and make her null somehow (??)

more seriously, i can't tell how much of it was just having fun regarding the comment about me "dangling you over the cliff", but your very charitable reactions to my early read on you, and then continuing to mention there are town reasons for me to do what i'm doing as you worked around to scumreading me, it all feels very TMI-ish.
