Question: why would Xtoxm not just claim Messenger? Why claim the modifiers? That significantly weakens the role for no reason.

to make himself more useful and more likely to live?

Here are three things I thought of when thinking about whether this was a real claim or not:

Essentially this role is semi-investigative in that if the person does not receive the message - they would be a mafia or an ascetic.


(1) They did not explain the thought process behind why they sent the message to me - why not investigate someone else?

(2) They did not push me when I initially didn't mention the anime thing.

(3) Using mention anime to show that I got the message is kind of weird if you are semi-investigative, what if I'm mafia and I happen to mention anime anyway? Then you have a false innocent that could straight up tank the entire game. There's a non-zero chance I would mention anime since this character is from an anime, we have been discussing anime the previous day and I called Danyflor an anime denier.

I would've expected someone with such a role to instead be like "mention the number 50294 in your first post or something sufficiently obscure that I might not accidentally like post it.

Anyway maybe I'm just being overly paranoid and over thinking it.

Titus - i more agree with others sentiments that Hectic would pick Titus now actually, she also hasnt been around which ive more interpreted with her as scum than town -- like in her town games with me she drives elims, in the scum ones i cant remember anything she does
Firebringer - not much to work off of other than sort of janky claim
unwnd - gambiting scum or not, would guess not
RCEnigma - basically a coin toss but id bet against him being scum based on Hectic not picking him, and like i barely liked the ISO over others

Chara - probably scum for progression on me and also not really being into the game and also being scummy. it is going down with me sooner or later!

After skimming a few ISOs i lean not towards RCE and maybe towards Fire. I lean not towards unwind and towards Chara. Finally I would say probably towards Titus, against Ydrasse.

So Chara/Titus/Firebringer. I see Hectic picking Chara/Titus easily but unsure about Fire really. Claiming JoAT outright was weird tho and scum might be JoATs. i would soonest see Fire replaced with someone like Ydrasse though if she really was scum all along cause i dont really scumread him

so Chara/Titus + Fire or Ydrasse IMO

Yeah, I’m like 90% MT is scum.

They started Hatcheting me oddly, and they were discrediting me in a way where I think they knew Gamma was town, so when I flipped it on them, they absolutely knew they were caught in the moment, which explains their playstyle change.
