a vulture pokmon was long overdue.

Yeah, it really grew on me. 7th gen I like more than I feel I should because I like Salazzle and Silvally, because Silvally's like me, lost, pieced together, and evolved through high friendship.

i can really respect identifying with a Pokemon like that. it reminds me of my relationship to the entire Bug type. it's been such a journey growing up with them. their awkward beginnings, terrible movesets, to their esteemed position in the meta now and amazing variety. and more than that, the fact that Pokemon was built upon Satoshi Tajiri's love of collecting insects. there's a beauty in something that isn't traditionally beautiful, something that inspires such a deep feeling of disgust in so many people... to see it elevated and treated with such care among dragons and fairies and other beloved creatures. and i don't say that to mean i don't think bugs are beautiful. i couldn't be more infatuated with them.



i also like Salazzle, because she's sexy.

Chara and Ydrasse's relationship begins to take a turn. A dejected chara from multiple scumgames, stands aside a tempted Ydrasse, as two exchange a moment...

Y: Chara, there's something I've really gotta ask you.. It's why I kept replying to you so far.
[Ydrasse tenses up, and begins to shuffle her feet nervously. She averts her gaze from Chara]
Y: Have you ever... loved someone?
C: That's what you came to ask?
Y: No I mean...I...
Y: I was wondering if even mafiascum players fall in love...
C: What are you trying to say?
[Ydrasse urges the courage within herself, and gets closer to Chara.]
Y: I wanna ask you...
Y: Do you think love could bloom even in a mafia game?
C: Yeah...I do..
C: I think at any time...at any place, people can fall in love with each other.
[Ydrasse backs up, her face becomes flushed.]
C: But....
C: I have shed my humanity because Pokemon got rid of 2d sprites however.
C: If you love someone, you have to be able to protect them. Like Nintendo and their intellectual properties.
Y: I think so too..
C: I have a favor to ask.
Y: :3?
Y: I told you before I'm not scum... I don't wanna hurt anyone.
C: I don't want you to either.
Y: O-okay. D-did you know I like cutiefly?

True but that doesn’t mean they can never be obvtown despite that. Skitter for example has a very wide scumrange but I can point you to games where she blatantly obvtowned in those.

And you really never read that game, I did and they sound very differently here. They never once made an authentic emotional reaction post in that game like they did here - several times. ISO him in Ali’s game. They never did anything even close to that.
