The reason why I didn't was simple: I thought if I claimed VT, which I am, scum and/or people suffering from confirmation bias would call bullshit on the claim and cry shenanigans. Plus I wanted scum to have a harder time at guessing the town PR besides the masons, if there is one.

I aim to do all I can to help town win. sometimes that is by not voting for people when I think it is a bad idea. sometimes it is voting for people I think are scum. sometimes it is voting for someone else when I know the target of a different wagon is 100% town.

Because I have been quite open about where I think the vote should go. So now that the vote has mostly consolidated in a place where I’m okay with, why would I not want to rally other players to get the job done with the deadline approaching? Would you rather I sit back, sheep someone, and not care if an execution is even attained at deadline? Because as a complaint, what you’re saying makes no sense.

geraintm is being way overly picky about when my vote for Cook came in, so I’m mostly ignoring them because their read of me has been nothing short of dreadful. So given that, I don’t have a whole lot of confidence that their reads can be trusted here. But their general demeanor, of basically trying to avoid screwing up as much as possible, is not too far from what they usually do as Town. So that’s giving me some pause.

Nevertheless, geraintm’s vote for Lotus at this stage *is* silly. It would be one thing if they had come in and said okay, I think Lotus is Scum, and they’re the best execution, but given time limitations, this is what I’ll have to do. But no, it’s a vanity vote, when people didn’t seem particularly active, almost demonstrating that they’re okay with no elimination at all. It’s infuriating.
