I agree that MC flipping scum is better for Mena-town possibility than if MC was town (as Gamma's non-AI defense of MC-town would look like Gamma-scum TMI),In post 1472, Infinity 324 wrote:That makes even less sense :/
It was pretty clear no other CW was gaining traction, I don't get why gamma makes himself look awful trying to defend murder esp if he's bomb
but Gamma's defense of MC was early-ish of the MC wagon so not necessarily just throwing himself in front of an inevitable elimination
and Gamma's defense of MC is probably objectively verifiable (e.g., MC gets better as town as the game goes on; MC has been pushed early as town before), which is a good scum argument because it's technically correct, but is a scum argument because it isn't AI for MC in this game
also you were there similarly supporting the anti-MC push--so, if you're town, then Gamma-scum isn't alone protecting MC-buddy
finally Gamma's change on MC is inconsistent with his play towards the MC slot given penguin's Post 1450"This Court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is 'actually' innocent." curious why infinity over Mena, who I think are the two initial candidates for today's elim (but not locked in to just these two for today)

@skitter and auro I’m really really sorry about D1. I think I got myself stuck in kill mode and couldn’t get myself out. And that’s probably the best way to describe why I felt so off. I think you guys are probably just town though.
I’m not particularly townreading gamma’s slot but I think gc trying to make a gamma wagon possible at eod was kinda suspicious.

Okay, well I can’t answer for gamma and I haven’t read yet but I willIn post 1474, Dumb and Dumber wrote:Also @mena i have a p strong townpool and gamma never was townie, so he was p firmly outside of it. Like I don’t ur logic but I would like to hear more on who is particularly towny and why

I disliked his progression on murder after a reread. In post 1478, Green Crayons wrote:curious why infinity over Mena, who I think are the two initial candidates for today's elim (but not locked in to just these two for today)
The advancement of the murdercat wagon was so halting that I strongly doubt that, and the only real candidate for a hardbus there is dumb and dumber, who I find independently towny anyway. In post 1483, Menalque wrote:Idk my inclination is that scum hardbussed for cred to get into panic room, but that’s purely based on VCs and knowing my own alignment- Dumb and Dumber

What was gamma's partner doing if gamma was trying to defend murder then? Almost everyone was on either gamma or murder. Yes scum can position themselves differently, but I just don't see the benefit to gamma defending murder so conspicuously there if the plan was to bus.In post 1477, Green Crayons wrote:

Also, penguin came to the conclusion that gamma's progression actually made some sense. Gamma's positions don't always make the most sense on the surface, yeah it changed abruptly but he didn't really make an effort to make it look smooth.
I want to look at the people who were shading murder but voting gamma instead, I'm thinking maybe scum felt that gamma would be harder to push as a miselim once murder flipped scum.- Green Crayons

Also are you asking for a gamesolve to suspect Gamma for his interaction re MC?In post 1488, Infinity 324 wrote:What was gamma's partner doing if gamma was trying to defend murder then?"This Court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is 'actually' innocent." I'm not asking for a full solve, but your argument makes a lot less sense when you realize there had to be bussing fmpovIn post 1447, PenguinPower wrote:but, gamma, i did see that you, gamma, started to shift your, gamma, opinion earlier back than i originally though. And, gamma, you did say that the kitty of murder felt flat, gamma, prior to your townread tirade so, gamma, i guess i'll give you, gamma, the benefit of the doubt and say that your, gamma's, progression there is actually ok.- Daenerys and Dragons

oh i see. i originally skimmed 1447 as sarcasm because of the repeatedly saying the name "gamma," but i agree with your read of penguin's read"This Court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is 'actually' innocent." I don’t understand thisIn post 1491, Infinity 324 wrote:I'm not asking for a full solve, but your argument makes a lot less sense when you realize there had to be bussing fmpov
If both MC and Gamma are scum, then scum got unlucky that town suspected them both on D1
So ofc there’s a strong potential for bus bc that’s where the thread was focused"This Court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is 'actually' innocent." And where does that lead you? I'd rather we talked about that first, rather than about Gamma. In post 1488, Infinity 324 wrote:I want to look at the people who were shading murder but voting gamma instead, I'm thinking maybe scum felt that gamma would be harder to push as a miselim once murder flipped scum.
