1) what power role have you not been that you want to try out, and why?

I want to be a Babysitter. I feel like it has a lot of creative outplay potential.

2) If you were scum, who in this game would be your a) D1 miselim push, b) N1 kill, and c) partner you’d want to bus you and go to the end, given each person was the correct alignment for that specific action?

3) What is your skill with mechanic-heavy setups? If you’re not skilled at them, do you intend to get better with practice or rely on others?

I prefer more normal games, but I'm not -bad- at mech. I tend to rely on others for a lot of mech stuff, if even just to get second/third opinions on things like balance. I don't see this game being that difficult to get a grasp on.

4) What is your "hit" (aka greatest strength) and "miss" (aka greatest weakness) regarding your GENERAL play?

I am very good at seeing town players that play fairly straight and ensuring others don't eliminate them. I'm not so good at persuading others in a general sense, putting together an argument that will be compelling to a bunch of people.

5) In games where your player character/characters is/are able to get stronger over time at a steady pace, do you prefer characters whose stats start high but don't improve much, or characters with low starting stats who can grow more to potentially surpass the other set?

See, my brain thinks it likes the latter choice better in theory, but thinking about the games I actually play, I always wind up choosing the former.

Not sure why a bunch of people took the Lunar dayvig claim seriously, I read it as an obvious joke. Is there some reason scum would take it seriously? Gamma saying he doesn't believe Lunar but also thinking a protective should be on them is very odd to me and his explanation of 'one of those posts is manufactured' later doesn't do much for me

I think BBMolla's early pack discussion looks town tbh. Or at least he said enough that I don't think he'd feel -that- comfy saying as scum considering almost everything in his pack will probably be known eventually. Contrary to what GreyICE argues later on I think it makes little sense as scum to come out and immediately say 'I'm taking something scummy N1'. Technically could work in theory, but in practice I think most scum take better lines of play D1 and I know BBMolla could do better than that.
Pooky and Toog are both right about this. Toog on track to look rather town so far as well. I'm not going to pretend I'll have an accurate read on Pooky by the end of this but I hope you're town

Nah I think they're genuinely trying to read people. I also don't read Lunar's posts as trying to convince you or anyone that they're town, at all.

GreyICE's double-down on Pooky in 261 is pretty terrible, Pooky hasn't been useless at all even compared to other people who have posted up to that point. I'm not convinced by anything GreyICE has posted so far and if this continues he's probably a good D1 vote.

Gamma's still talking about himself and RQS when there are like 5 different more interesting things he could be talking about.

I'm mostly losing my shit because it seems a lot of people who have more experience are calling it a scumtell, when that's just a shit take all over.

I really like this post, you seem to solve similarly to how I solve. Maybe we can work together.
I think I disagree that this is towny though. Gamma has the capability to react like this as scum, and from my (limited) experience with Gamma I'd call reactions like this a sort of default for him in response to pressure.
Like on the other hand if you look at this:

I strongly get the impression that this could come from either alignment. You can be upset about something like this and also be scum. (Or you could be faking it, or somewhere in between)

Regardless, shadow feels like he's genuinely solving and I'm happy to townbin there atm. Toog continues to have Very Legit Reads and is also a top-tier townread.

Pizza actually starts giving solid content that looks real around pages 17-19. I was feeling good about them being scum but now I'm not so sure. I think earlier I was being thrown off by how little Noraa was contributing but that seems to be a conscious decision on the part of the hydra. But yeah, recent content is good, Infinity's stuff lately especially.

Last few pages are *static noises* for me other than willow coming in. willow's catchup feels okay to me, I like their read on Shadow and their thoughts on Gamma's stuff being basically NAI, but some of their townreads are meh. Want to see more from him.

Meh, I don't pay attention to that kind of stuff. I couldn't tell you who is an alt or main account, and I sometimes don't even know who is in the hydras (or that they even were hydras) I'm playing with even though that info is on the first pages of all the games. Unfortunately for me (I guess), I treat every game as a bubble and don't tend to consider outside forces.
