I look a lot at who people are attacking and supporting. I find that scum that don't necessarily fit into a townblock or at least a group of players that are familiar with each other tend to attack townish players more harshly.

it's not a dispute that interests me because i'd much rather vote NPOM and leave those two guys alone, but reading your post about the murdercat thing reminded me a few other occasions where noraa's posting bothered me, and after rereading i find the constant omgussing and flip flopping like "ok YOU must be mafia, ok maybe you're town and THIS guy is mafia!!" so ridiculous it's hard to see coming from town
