The way I use performative is when someone makes a post and gives thoughts to look towny and for the purpose to be townread, rather than them being natural thoughts they want to share with everyone. In post 2469, Nancy Drew 39 wrote:

However they straight up claimed vanilla cop when I demanded they claim. something that we have as of yet to see from W & P.
I’m also thinking we might possibly be seeing a town teddy in this game and I’m really vibing with the desert alt.
This at least rules out one player for me.
Do you think the vanilla cop claim is town-indicative? I could see that being a scum-trueclaim too. I don't see it as alignment-indicative.- 5uffering

So you’re thinking that BM was maybe an all town wagon? In post 2470, Starcrossed wrote:

I don't really like clidd/Sherlock either there. What are your thoughts on them?
I'm not going on a wild goose chase and narrowing POE for no reason into a small subset.
When scum see a very loud townie on the wrong track and banging for a mis-elim, they don't have to help that townie, goad that townie, or get on the wagon. Your entire mindset for figuring this out is wrong.
Your very premise that there MUST be lots of scum involved is flawed.**********We just need to tread carefully because if you slip up around her as scum she notices and will tear your spine out and slap you to death with it. Yeah, this is true. If 5uffering wanted to, he could've just split those thoughts into separate posts or not formatted it in that manner. I think we probably shouldn't read too much into the style/formatting choice. In post 2474, 5uffering wrote:If I'm scum I just stick with what works. I'm not saying that there are 0 scum on the wagon. In post 2479, Nancy Drew 39 wrote:So you’re thinking that BM was maybe an all town wagon?
I'm saying scum are more likely to not be on the wagon because they know BM is flipping red and they know noraa is hard driving the mis-elim through.

I don’t understand why you think Starcrossed would even be the most suspicious vote on that wagon. Kanna was probably one of the most reluctant voters on it.In post 2472, 5uffering wrote:

I'm very alert to what they're doing. I would say the absolute worst vote there would probably be Sherlock/Italiano though. Town can make bad votes too, I don't scumread Starcrossed just because they were on a wagon that flipped green, rather I think the way he's handling the situation and how he's been prior just does not match up. This is what of all things riles him up for? I haven't really been able to like kanna's posts either. In post 2484, Nancy Drew 39 wrote:

The things written in that list feel like padding, like you had to force something on every slot. It also seems you’re nischaracterizing/shading a good few people in thatWe're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

It’s difficult to tell with certainty with this specific player. I don’t know but I recall that particular role being a town role in Pooky vs FL.In post 2476, Pyro wrote:

But I think I understand what you mean by that. Yeah, I tend to agree. As scum you ideally would prefer miselims to go through and not get your hands dirty if possible. And this wagon really didn’t need a lot of scum help to get rammed through. It’s still possible there’s at least one scum on it, maybe?**********We just need to tread carefully because if you slip up around her as scum she notices and will tear your spine out and slap you to death with it. My vote on BM was because I felt he was being very political, at first. Sorry about that >.> Please steer for us lol!

It's not just the vote, I have just felt really off on their input. If Pooky/Kanna were just having a ball and didn't wanna really care. I could respect that. I could be fine with it. This isn't true though, and kanna feels responsible to engage the game seriously in ways that form no conclusions. Pooky doesn't really do it any favors as well because he mostly excuses this in a playful way even going so far to say stuff like 'kanna will obvtown for me'.In post 2497, Nancy Drew 39 wrote:In post 1964, Starcrossed wrote:
