You're pointing to 495; 496 was literally "intent for claim" -- kitty is right that not claiming after 496 is extremely sus, particularly in this setup, and no that is not something that would be more sus on other websites, it is extremely sus here on this website and in this queue.

the handwringing is actually why i react so badly to that post. like i said earlier e-1 is aggressive which is fine. what i don't like is the mixture of that and the equivocal language in that post.

like, the first half of 495 even hints that it was a choice between floo and flow trap and he didn't want to OMGUS floo.

if you think i'm overreacting let me know. this is the biggest reason i do not want a FT hammer as it stands (i have another reason, but it is an extremely stupid, gut-based one).

Actually I get what you're saying, reading it again. Hmm. Idk. I kinda buy it I guess? Like I think it would be scummier to have that hand-wringing and then not vote, then e1 later. So that it still comes out with a vote despite the concerns feels better to me.

I get that I have been hard pushing flow at this point and not everyone is quite as bloodthirsty as me. And actually I kinda get your concern. If you read it with your concerns in mind, it's reasonable to be worried that kitty is pushing flow as like a scummy l1 on limbait. But I also think it's reasonable for kitty to push flow there as town. Like you're asking 'is there scum motivation in that vote' and the answer is,sure I guess. But I ask 'is there town motivation in that vote' -- and the answer there is also yes. Because, flow being limbait or not, kitty, if town, has to vote the scummiest person in the room.

i actually kinda like this push for you, but, I also feel like (townies) making pushes like this is why flow flailing like they did is scummy because if you are town and kitty is town (as I think he is) then they are positioning you to look like scum trying to save a buddy. That's why, from my point of view, I'd prefer the hammer on flow, and evaluate this argument on day 2 when we have greater knowledge about the game.

i’ve changed my mind, floo is probably my other option for today, feels like they’re trying to defend you via attacking others on you, while also denying they’re doing it/explaining things away. that’s the gist i get of their big post. it’s very verbose and explain-y but my eyes glazed over in the sense that the explanations felt like words for the sake of intimidation/information overload.

this is very much me going “i need to skim quickly at work and then read more when i’m home” too so there might be more depth/changes to this when i’m off later but for now that’s what i’m feeling.

274 flow's read list looks genuine enough. There are some reads I disagree with, but that will happen with any other readlist, and there is pushing a square peg into a round hole than I'd expect from a scum readlist. It's the first half of D1. If flow trap does not have two scumreads for that reason, we should not force him into making a bad scumread.

Scumleaning Ydrasse at this point. 348 and 524's "work with us" is glib. I have said before why they basically say "go scumread someone else." Someone who has twice as many posts as me doesn't care about any players except flow trap. She has forgotten kittytacky, a former scumread, and her scumread on me is wholly dependent on the flow trap read. The recent response to me was scummy too, attacking my argument as intimidation or whatever as an excuse not to actually respond to my points.
