Trying to figure out Grendel since because despite it being what is a lock guilty trying to figure out if I was obvious yesterday with my crumbs or it’s legit guilty and Grendel is SK (which confirms Misty scum). If Grendel is scum Mistyx is likely confirmed town for her opening.

Means theyre not town aligned at the minimum I'd imagine. From what I get of the role, it only returns a result on town aligned players otherwise acts as blocked.

So the question is, do the baddies have a blocker... and at this point, who do they think their biggest threat is...

If I get no result the person is conf not town (barring bus drivers or redirectors or millers)

The result would be a yes no if they visited anyone or was visited by anyone.
The loyal part is the important thing.

fuck this I'm just going to out that I'm a gated vig, I guess there's not any reason to not reveal it given my gating is so severe I won't be able to shoot for a while

so this is why I've been doubting Grendel's claim as a full ungated vig. It seemed unlikely to me that town would have the chance for 2 kills each night in a game of this size.

I was not able to shoot the last night nor am I able to tonight otherwise I would just shoot grendel to resolve this. I *might* be able to shoot N3 depending on how things work out.

veryone thought my reply to Markymark’s case on the NK 15 slot was genuine, but actually I was being sarcastic. I didn’t feel the way Marky worded it sounded particularly like a scum case. I’m of the opinion that scum generally don’t intentionally misrep as often as people think they do. But now that I’ve gone back and read myself I think I was just still having trouble with markymarks style and I can see where he’s coming from, although NK15 is more null for me than anything else

Maybe this is just me, but I actually don't think something like a one-shot strongman scum vig would be that weird, and scum!Grendel could just sort of be bluffing about having additional shots. Hence Grendel being gung-ho to holster, and could have been just planning on claiming to be blocked on subsequent nights or some such. (If we say 'oh kill jesse' and Grendel goes 'I was blocked, guess it's scum protecting Jesse' this looks pretty good if Jesse is town, or even could be ok as a bus I think)

I don't really have a feel for what's considered within the range of possibility on this site, but something like that scenario doesn't seem too weird to me.

Um, looking at things.

I don't have this firm belief that "vague knowledge about the setup" indicates a player is town by the way. I'm trying to evaluate that. We've seen two games with Gamma with an "informed" role, but neither one was like this - one was a townie who knew there was "a water related role" and one was scum who knew there was no cops in the setup. I cannot find any others, and Gamma has done a lot of these.

Goddamn it, I am leaning towards not lynching Grendel today. That's insane.
