So there are 2 other scum to catch even if she is scum, and if she’s town (which by definition she is in most games) you have a better chance to win by giving her space to do her thing bc she has good reads normally

i do have to agree with Lucy about the special treatment thing, i always feel kind of gross when i give more deference to scummers i know, and when i realize i'm happier voting to eliminate ones i don't know/know less well. because i know how it sucks to be the player who doesn't have the great scumhunting reputation, and end up a compromise.

but that has little to do with actually winning, i'll admit. it's also not a very realistic thing to avoid.
...and more to the point, it's probably also the tactic i'll be taking with skitter, so this isn't really a knock on Mena as much as a "well shit sucks, man".

though it has nothing to do with a particular trust in skitter's reads over anyone else's and more to do with i think she does get readable herself in a way i can follow.

Ydrasse's indignation and defensiveness feels like she's more upset at not being able to have fun because she's getting scumread for it, meaning it wasn't some ploy or alignment based plan in the first place. I think the playstyle is probably not dependent on her alignment based on her reaction.

I want to take note of this because i don't like the timing and content of this post when compared to day's introduction

Like, he promised a catchup read but this feels a bit lackluster - as if he just picked one of two sides (ydratown vs ydrascum) and offered the general consensus produced by his side rather than independent opinion

There's been a lot of social this game so 've had far less reads than I normally would in 32 pages probably. I still don't like the way Alisae was setting up dichotomies in that post and I think the positioning looks more like scum. Farkran 'm not sure about, I read his tone as town but I haven't liked his latest reasoning as much.

You're hard to read, you go off gutpings and vibes and don't give as much reasoning, and 'm all about looking into people's reasoning, so I can't tell with you.

LegoLucy's really fun which is probably making me biased in my read of her, but 've liked her takes even if some of them are apparent. Nothing 've seen has raised alarm bells at the very least.

Because when she asks about stuff where she doesn't realize is a joke and wants to understand them that's something she would always ask no matter what. Most jokes become very serious if they aren't jokes.

It is literally most of the questions they have asked. I'm not going to attempt to explain them individually because I'd be screwing myself, as it's mostly a gut/tonal read, but to me it doesn't read like genuine curiosity but just making content for content's sake.

It's like scum who doesn't know how to enter into the light-hearted atmosphere so attempts to take things onto a more logical, serious level. Most of the questions were on stuff that clearly wasn't serious, and again it just struck me as scum trying to take the game into their comfort zone a bit. Norwegian handed them town points for this, which seems absurd to me.

Would Suji do the same as Town? Maybe, but this seems a lot different to how they entered the last game I played with them, where they asked more natural questions that didn't seem at all forced. As I said, I'm open to any evidence to the contrary, but no-one has provided any so far.

And I'm not even saying it's a super strong SR, but it isn't nothing, and I don't want to let Suji off the hook just because he's been a bit stilted in some Town games. There's a big difference between sounding stilted and just forcing content. I didn't SR Suji in the last game I played with them for the most part.
