If Artemiana is scum that doesn't necessarily mean Elsa is scum. Artemiana could be defending Elsa to implicate her as scum, thus killing both.

However I feel that's a bad play due to an 1:1 trade (if that) being good for town.

Now we have some info, which makes me think it's likely that Elsa and co are town, and likely that Unowen and co are scum.
Put a number on it if you like, but that doesn't matter that much. All we need is a best guess at this stage.
