The main reason you can read into the NK is that from our perspective it seems like Day is in the limpool and has a wifom role that we don't know if he really has it and it's a weak role that's hard to land, but from the hypothetical scumteam's PoV it's extremely likely at least one scum knows Day's main, and knows she can obvtown by eLo, and it's a role that can hard guilty and there's just nothing more horrifying than hardguilties, the odds be damned.

So there's a lot of scumteams that shoot Day over Pooky, assuming Day is town which really feels like the truth here.

And there's something to be gleaned from us not having one of those scumteams

I don’t at all buy that you’d never kill him as scum as it’s pure WIFOM. Pooky surviving would have to wonder why tf he wasn’t killed, which must mean he is on the wrong track and is tr’ing scum, and therefore must reset. In the game I referenced above, Datisi nearly voted me purely because it would make sense for me to leave him alive.
